Our aim in the Toddler group is to encourage your child to explore and learn and encourage to express their needs. We also encourage and provide them the opportunity to further develop their skills on an individual basis.

Toddlers have the curiosity to explore and experience the world around them. Our carers facilitate this by :

• Encouraging the toddlers to use words / phrases to help in communicating and  expressing themselves.
• Encourage the value of sharing and co-operation through group play.
• Toddlers are encouraged to develop friendships and gain confidence to interact with others.
• We aim to identify and encourage every child’s own unique set of skills and interest during the toddler stage.

As regular and ongoing communication is a vital part of Little Stars we will always keep you informed of your child’s progress.

By the time your child moves into this age group at Little Stars, He / She will be developing a whole range of new skills. Our main aim in this age group is primarily to encourage children’s independence and self help skills. They would also develop a whole new range of independence , social and pre-literacy, and numeracy skills.

• Pre writing and reading activities.
• We offer a specialised pre school programme that would provide your child with the essential skills and competence to assist in the transition to school programme, which would be their next phase of learning.

Within a beautiful, warm and homely setting we offer our 4 year old funded kindergarten programs to the children within our communities. Our Kindergarten program is completely embedded into our long day care service and the beauty of this is that it is basically an added extra and the cost is totally included in your normal daily fees. It provides our families with an amazing school readiness program for the children whilst enabling the flexibility to our working and busy families. Our families can easily meet the 15 hours of kindergarten requirements whilst continuing to use our service between the hours of 6:30am and 6:30pm.
