Yarrunga Early Learning Centre knows how important educators are in the lives of children, especially in the early years. They employ a responsible and interactive team of qualified and experienced early childhood practitioners who have genuine respect for children, as well as a desire and ability to teach children an educational philosophy.
To do this they employ staff who respect and represent their values, enthusiasm and team ethic when working with children and families. Their selection of employees is to ensure each individual child is nurtured by dynamic, supportive and dedicated staff members.
Their highly qualified educators provide a play based curriculum that aims to reflect the families and children’s interests. All educators directly working with children are qualified, many of whom hold a diploma or teaching degree.

Two of my children attended here 5 days a week from the time they were 3 months old until they went to Kindergarten.... Two of my children attended here 5 days a week from the time they were 3 months old until they went to Kindergarten. This centre is brilliant. It is a not for profit part being part of the ACC - so they are not counting the number of peas on your child's plate or stretching out changing nappies to save costs. The level of care and educational play is outstanding. The carers at the centre are amazing, the facilities are terrific and it has an earthen non plastic feel to it. Easy to park and drop off which is so important.Would highly recommend. Read more

In January 2012 the National Quality Framework (NQF) came into effect across Australia.
The purpose of the NQF is to improve and standardise the quality of child care through a
range of measures including better staff to child ratios, higher staff qualifications
and an assessment and rating system designed to promote continuous improvement.
Under the NQF child care services are assessed and rated against the National Quality Standards (NQS).
The NQS measures the quality of early childhood education and care in Australia. It will cover
most long day care, family day care, preschool/kindergarten and outside school hours care services.
Under these standards child care services will be assessed and rated against the
seven quality areas, 18 standards and 58 elements that make up the NQS.
