Our son went to wonder years between the ages of 1 and 3. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better daycare. The staff are all amazing and genuinely caring. Our son really loved his educators and the centre. The diversity is great and the child are so lucky to have lots of different incursions throughout the year. Sadly we had to take him out when we moved to a different suburb. We would highly recommend wonder years to anyone looking for a daycare.

Just a wonderful daycare! Many of the teachers have their own children here, which makes it one big family. The owners are a young couple who also have their own kids here. They took over the daycare a couple of years ago. They come from a family of daycare owners, so they're very experienced. But they're also clearly still very enthusiastic and entrepreneurial to grow and improve the daycare, which is great to see.

Our son went to this daycare for about a year (3-4yr) class. He enjoyed with all the teachers and friends! They made us feel part of the community and celebrated all festivals and important days. Kids had a lot of incursions which my son clearly enjoyed! They provided all meals (morning tea, afternoon tea and evening tea). I wish the quantity of meals were a bit more than what was served, since my son kept saying there was not enough for 2nd servings or teacher would say they ran out . Nevertheless, a good experience indeed! Thanks wonderyears team ❤️

Our children attended Wonder Years since its refurbishment in 2022, with our older child there from age 1-3, progressing through all three rooms, and our younger child starting in the babies (Caterpillar Room) for the past 3-4 months. We recently relocated, necessitating a move to a different centre. Wonder Years is excellent centre with great facilities and very caring educators. Our children formed secure and happy relationships with both their peers and teachers while there. There is a focus on learning and development, and children receive attention to their individual needs. There is a sense of community amongst parents, children and staff. We would not hesitate to recommend this centre, and will miss the lovely staff a lot!

This is a great centre! Our kids love coming here, sometimes they don't want to leave! The staff are warm and friendly, the rooms are clean and the food looks delicious. We have had a great experience. I would highly recommend this centre for anyone looking for care for their little ones.

Wonder Years has truly exceeded my expectations. The teachers and kind and supportive. The management, Pearl and Sapna, have created a warm and comforting environment for children.

There have been both positive and concerning aspects that I’ve noticed as a parent during my son’s (1.5-year-old) time at Wonder Years. Firstly, I must commend the centre director and owner, Pearl, for her lovely and supportive attitude. Pearl consistently committed to finding solutions and fostered a welcoming environment for parents and kids. Unfortunately, most Wonder Years educators do not share the same philosophy and commitment. One notable issue we consistently faced was the state of our son’s nappy upon pickup. His nappy was soiled on numerous occasions with an apparent lingering smell. I understand if it happened just before pickup, and they didn’t know, but you could tell they had not changed his nappy for hours. In one instance, the nappy revealed a torn lining with the absorbent beads scattered because the nappy had not been changed for some time, resulting in a nasty genital infection. We addressed this issue with Pearl, who implemented a 5:15pm nappy check for all staff. We were hopeful this would resolve the issue but found our son’s nappy soiled upon pickup on three occasions again. We addressed this issue with the educators directly before escalating with Pearl. The educators expected us to change our son upon pickup and not during their care – countless times, we have had to change our son’s nappy in the car before leaving. Another concern was the educators’ little transparency in explaining why they changed our son’s clothes throughout the day. The team leader, Sarah, often gave us a “look” at drop-off when we dressed him in onesies. They constantly changed him into shorts and a tee at some point during the day. When asked the reasoning, the educators couldn’t provide a clear answer and said they weren’t briefed or given an end-of-day handover. This continued for weeks until we asked again, and Sarah bluntly said it was “inappropriate to wear onesies as the weather warms up” (August/September). We are open to accommodating the educators’ needs if it makes it easier for them, but their lack of transparency and honesty makes it more difficult. I can deeply relate to another recent Google review about Wonder Years, where the parent said they “sensed the educator’s annoyance with my presence”. Over time, we have observed a lack of compassion from educators when acknowledging children and parents during drop-offs and pickups. While my son settled in okay, we often witnessed children being ignored by the educators. I only wish I had seen this during our initial Wonder Years tour. The accumulation of concerning experiences led us to take our son out of Wonder Years, and on his second last day, he came home with a massive bruise and lump on his forehead that resulted in a doctor’s appointment. This incident occurred around 5:30pm, when fewer children were at the centre, raising concerns about the duty of care responsibilities of educators to ensure our children are safe. Unfortunately, we have had a mixed experience with Wonder Years, and I hope this feedback contributes to ongoing improvements.
