After moving to Westmead with our 3.5-year-old son, we had an extremely difficult journey with childcare. We tried two childcare centres within walking distance from our home, but our son simply could not settle. He was highly anxious, cried intensely during drop-offs, vomited almost daily, and often came home with bruises, small cuts, and nappy rash. The environments did not feel child-friendly, and the staff were not approachable. As parents, this was heartbreaking and incredibly stressful.
We then moved him to another daycare in Westmead, hoping things would improve, but unfortunately he still struggled to settle. At that point, we genuinely began to worry that our son might never adjust to childcare anywhere.
Everything changed when we found Little Thinkers Childcare in Wentworthville.
From our very first visit, we could see how beautifully the centre is run. We met the owner, Ms Navya, who is warm, approachable, and highly professional. Our son instantly connected with her and formed a very special bond. She quickly understood his needs, identified areas where he needed extra support with routine and training, and thoughtfully tailored a program specifically for him.
From day one, our son played happily with Ms Navya. During the first few days after enrolment, he cried a little at drop-off, but by the second week he was saying he wanted to go to childcare and proudly told us that his best friend is “Miss Navya.” That moment meant everything to us.
Before Little Thinkers, even talking about childcare made him anxious and fearful. Now, he is happy, confident, and genuinely loves going every day. He has built strong relationships with the educators and other children and especially loves patting Franky the dog 🐶. Some days, he doesn’t even want to come home!
Since attending Little Thinkers, our son has developed excellent literacy and numeracy skills, learned so many new abilities, and gained remarkable confidence.
As parents, we finally feel at peace. We no longer worry when we drop him off because we know he is in safe, caring hands. The educators are incredibly attentive — they ensure he stays well hydrated, offer alternative food if he doesn’t eat, apply sunscreen, adjust his clothing according to the weather, and genuinely care about his wellbeing. The centre is always clean, safe, and welcoming.
After eight months of struggle and multiple childcare changes, we have finally found a place where our child is truly happy. Our happiness as parents knows no bounds.
We are deeply grateful to Ms Navya and the entire Little Thinkers team for bringing so much peace, trust, and happiness into our family.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts ❤️
