At the beginning of this year, I was close to giving up on finding a childcare centre that truly understood and could support my son’s needs—there really aren’t many places left that offer this level of care. From the moment I walked in here, I knew it was the right place. The change in my son has been incredible. His needs have been met beyond expectations, and he is honestly like a new child. The educators took the time to learn about him and understand his individual needs within the first week. He can now regulate his emotions in a childcare setting, and his sensory needs are consistently supported. The fact that there are no meltdowns on the way home speaks volumes—it shows me every day that he feels safe, understood, and cared for. I couldn’t recommend this centre more highly. If you’re looking for a place where your child will truly be supported, loved, and given the opportunity to thrive, this is it.

We truly love GS pendle hill, from the lovely director Lee-Ann to the beautiful educators that are caring, friendly and knowledgeable, they really get to know each child and build such lovely, genuine relationships with them. Every day, they create fun and meaningful learning experiences that help our child grow and feel confident. The chef always prepares beautiful, healthy meals & is more than happy to cater to the children’s needs, it also gives us such peace of mind knowing the centre takes the children’s safety and wellbeing seriously. We feel so lucky to have a place where our child is happy, supported, and thriving 🩷

Both my children started their childcare experiences at other centres. Moving to Goodstart Pendle Hill has been a welcome change. The setting may not be as new and flash as some other centres, but this can't be replaced by the staffing team. The level of care and knowledge they have for each child cannot be faulted. Staff aren't afraid to have difficult conversations - they do it in a way that's respectful and constructive. For our family, the team have been a second home to my children. As full-time working parents it's such a comfort to know that the team at Goodstart Pendle Hill will care for your children as much as you do.

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Pendle Hill is a welcoming 38-place facility nestled in a quiet residential area, conveniently located near local schools and shops. Our dedicated team of seven educators, including a Centre Director, two Group Leaders, three Assistants, and a Cook, is committed to providing high-quality care and education. All our educators hold Food Handlers Certificates and current First Aid Certificates.
We offer a diverse program tailored to the individual needs of each child. Our Kindergarten and Preschool rooms are designed in line with the Early Years Learning Framework, featuring sensory and play-based learning opportunities in colourful, stimulating environments.
Our Storypark platform, alongside regular family nights and newsletters, fosters open communication with parents, allowing us to customise programs to reflect each child's unique interests and strengths, embracing the cultural diversity within our centre.
Outside, children can explore age-appropriate play spaces equipped with a dry riverbed, log cabin, chook pen, vegetable patches, and sandpits, all promoting sustainability awareness. We enrich learning through community incursions, inviting local professionals like police officers and firefighters to discuss important topics with the children.
We celebrate milestones with a Preschool Graduation night, an End of Year Celebration, and individual birthday recognitions, honouring each child’s uniqueness. Our educators are committed to continuous professional development to stay abreast of current legislation and educational trends.
