I attended Sunshine Kindy between 1996 - 1999 with my sister, when Mr and Mrs Antipas - the OG's were running the centre, along with their cat Lucky who also roamed freely with us. Ms Lisa and Ms Cherie also worked there at the time and they were lovely. Balls would accidentally get kicked over to Mr George's fence. We tried to start our own sand pit at home by collecting sand in our shoes from the kindy and tipping it out when we got home. 🙊😂. All in all, we had a blast; we played, we had fun, and the food and snacks were delicious - no one had allergies back then. 👏🏽 It was a different time and experience to what it would be now, and we are so grateful for it!

Sunshine Kindy has been one of the most professional and reassuring places we have experienced. The teachers are highly professional, patient, and genuinely caring. As we joined mid-year and our child only has one year before starting Kindy, the educators carefully plan daily activities to ensure the children are well prepared for primary school. What impressed us most is that each child has an individual learning plan and tailored educational approach. The teachers work closely with parents to guide and support children in developing good life habits, appropriate behaviour, and social skills, and they always provide timely and helpful feedback. The regular parent-teacher meetings are also very warm and thoughtful, making us feel truly supported and involved in our child’s development. We feel completely confident and grateful to have our child learning and growing in such a caring and professional environment.

As a parent at Sunshine Kindy for around 3 years I can say that this place is truly a hidden gem of Chester Hill. The small class sizes, nurturing and positive staff stand out. His teacher's individualised focus on my son’s development has been invaluable in preparing my son for school and caring for him in his toddler years. All the teachers genuinely care for the wellbeing of my son and are always there to provide support or have an honest chat about how he is going, they feel like family not childcare staff and my husband and I have 100% trust and faith in them. The teachers also share photos and descriptions of all daily activities frequently throughout the day. My son's teachers support helped me pinpoint areas of development so that I could focus on these at home while they also supported his specific skills. The play-based educational approach at Sunshine Kindy helped my son develop a natural curiosity in learning about the world and paved the pathway for successful literacy and numeracy skills. Using their massive outdoor play space, Sunshine Kindy runs lots of fun real-world based learning experiences such as chicken egg hatching and sustainable farming practices. My son is always excited to talk about these projects at home and go to preschool to see them. Another quality Sunshine Kindy nurtured in my son his empathy. My son is always eager to help and share with others. With a consistent approach and a positive environment my son has learnt the importance of caring for others around him. He is now fully prepared for the next chapter in his life as a future Kindergarten student. As a high school teacher, I would say that the care at Sunshine Kindy is unmatched and has helped our busy working family support our son in every way possible.

The growth and learning she experienced during her time at your centre have been remarkable. She has not only gained knowledge but also developed confidence, curiosity, and social skills in the warm and nurturing environment you created. Every day, she came home with smiles and stories, which showed how much she felt loved and inspired. Thank you for your patience, dedication, and heartfelt care. Alf and his team of lovely educators made me feel so comfortable and at ease when I transitioned my youngest into childcare. Their program keeps the kids engaged and learning lots of skills, and the outdoor area is a plus! Thanks so much to the team for being part of our schooling journey!

Sunshine Kindy is an excellent place for Young Toddler Children to grow and develop, they have been a great help to looking after my son. My son loves his teachers and loves his class mates. They are a safe, hygienic and very well organised Early Childcare Learning centre. 5 Stars for sure. If I have more children I will be sending them there . My son just loves Sunshine Kindy so much , he always asks me to go drop him off there , even on the weekend ! LOL 😊 I highly recommend Sunshine Kindy, Alf and his team of professional and caring teachers are absolutely awesome.

My son attended Sunshine Kindy for 3 years until he commenced primary school this year. The educators were great with my son who was quite shy and timid at the start. Within only weeks he became more confident, had forged some friendships and loved attending each day.. During his time at Sunshine he was very well cared for, nurtured and educated. I always felt like the staff really cared about each child and weren’t just going through the motions of being an educator. The staff were very approachable and communication between them and myself was good. Alf and all the educators always went above and beyond and ensured my son met all the requirements to transition into primary school as a confident young boy. I would definitely recommend Sunshine Kindy to anyone looking for a quality, caring, nurturing centre for their children. My son misses Sunshine Kindy a lot and is always very excited to go back and visit Mr Alf and his old teachers and friends.

We had 3 out of our 4 kids go through Sunshine kindy (SK). The foundation that they now stand on was built up by attending SK. The combination of the teachers, facilities and resources that they provide is A1 and next to none. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed their time spent at SK and even now in their primary years, still often speak about their teachers who have become more like family. The beauty of the SK family is that they are very accommodating, inclusive, welcoming and most importantly nurturing. It’s a place where building up young kids to become amazing adults in the future is evident. Unlike other places we’ve tried sending our kids to, SK is not functional but instead relational thanks to the direction of their ever so amazing owner. Our only regret, if there is any, is that we didn’t find this place early enough to send all four of our children there.

Our son attended Sunshine Kindy (SK) for three years. Alf and the teachers became more like extended family over the period. SK goes out of its way to provide fun, social skills and learning, and they help instil moral values into our kids. Good manners, respecting authority, sharing and kindness are as crucial to SK as education; values our society is increasingly missing. The last year, SK prepared our son well for the transition to school, and we still maintain the friendships made there with kids, parents and teachers. Hand on heart, we could not have found a better place for our little one to learn, grow and get ready for the next step to primary schooling in a caring environment. Thanks, SK 😊❤️

My daughter loved going to Sunshine Kindy. All the educators are amazing and I loved the warm and caring nature the team provided. SK nurtured my daughter and helped her grow and develop throughout her years at the kindy, which prepared her for primary school. I would highly recommend SK to anyone looking for a childcare in Chester Hill as I couldn’t have asked for a better kindy to send my daughter to.
