We first became aware of Young Einstein’s Discovery Preschool on the ‘Care for kids’ website. We had just moved to the area and were desperate for a place in a local kindergarten program. Since then we have not looked back. We are so grateful to stumble upon this amazing educational gem. Our eldest daughter had attended Milford Street Kindy in Ipswich for term 1 of her kindy year. Coming from a very reputable kindy, we were hoping for a similar standard when we enrolled our child at YEDP. At the time, we didn’t realise that we had discovered a gold mine. Fast forward nearly three years later and here we are, about to say goodbye to YEDP. Our second child is about to finish after beginning at YEDP the day she turned 2.5 years old. Words cannot describe how appreciative we are for the staff at YEDP. As a teacher, I value education and wished for the best start for both my children. At YEDP, both my children have been given the most amazing start to their educational journey. YEDP have always gone above and beyond for every individual child who walks through their doors. My children have blossomed and as a family we have been given so much guidance, support, inspiration and sheer joy. The staff at YEDP are personable and supportive through the good times and bad. This year is a true example of hard times, and the staff were always there for me when I needed a chat, or advise, or just a shoulder to cry on. YEDP were like family. YEDP have worked alongside us to bring out the best in both our children. Their continued dedication is to be commended. I am honoured to be a parent of YEDP children, as they work on the ‘whole child’ and it really shows. My youngest is heading to prep as intelligent, kind, caring child who has empathy for others and the environment. She is reading and writing and is inquisitive about the world around her. YEDP have fostered her learning to its full potential as a four-year-old. I am continually inspired by the creativity displayed through preschool events, daily purposeful curriculum activities and ways they give back to charities. We are honoured to be members of the YEDP community and look forward to keeping in contact and contributing to the charity projects the preschool implements. Our community is so lucky to have this amazing educational setting and we are so sad to be leaving. We will be forever grateful for all YEDP have done and will continue to highly recommend YEDP as the best start a child can have. We wish you all the best YEDP and will continue to be inspired by your dedication, expertise and passion for early education. Thank you! YEDP is one in a million! This is the most amazing preschool where learning is individualised for each child. I can not thank them enough for the care they provided my children. My daughter was so ready for prep this year all thanks to them. My son will be in prep next year and the time and effort they have put into his education is phenomenal. I can not recommend them highly enough! Jessica Whalley
