Salisbury heights preschool was a dream, until the most valuable staff member was no longer there anymore. Since the departure of Maxyne the preschool... Salisbury heights preschool was a dream, until the most valuable staff member was no longer there anymore. Since the departure of Maxyne the preschool has gone down hill as has the duty of care for all children present along with communication skills within the last month alone I have had three issues in which the preschool has failed to inform me about and when questioned they had nothing but excuses an were quite dismissive I have had more than one child go to shps an never have I ever experienced the complete disregard to communicate with a parent an have had the director fail me more than once I’m disappointed to say the least if a parent is unhappy an wants to voice their opinion or concern they should be able to without hesitation an be heard an given the respect an have a solution to the issue or issues at hand, this is not the case at shps had these issues happened earlier in the year I would have pulled my child an placed them in another preschool shame on the director an all staff members for allowing such issues to happen when all could have been avoided had more effort/time been put in. This kindergarten is first class in every aspect including intentional learning zones, explicitly taught curriculum, visual supports to assist children with language needs, nature playground, parent support, and above all a cohesive, kind, compassionate staff who are knowledgable about early years framework curriculum and child protection matters. Absolutely pathetic. EVERY TIME my child went there she came home and had wet herself, yet at home, other peoples house and even... Absolutely pathetic. EVERY TIME my child went there she came home and had wet herself, yet at home, other peoples house and even taking her out for a whole day somewhere she never once wet herself. Rang and they have no explanation except we ask her if she wants to go and she doesn't. Will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Read more
