Hello, my name is Sukhwant Kahlon, and I was born in India. I currently reside in Moonee Ponds with my husband.

I previously worked as an Educator with Moonee Valley City Council since 1993, and joined Friendly Family Day Care in June 2017. I hold a Certificate III in Children’s Services, and my passion for education comes from my genuine love for children and my dedication to supporting their growth and development.

I offer a well-rounded indoor and outdoor program that provides a safe, nurturing, and joyful environment, where children can learn, play, and develop at their own pace. My approach focuses on creating a supportive and engaging atmosphere that encourages each child’s individual progress.

The program includes a wide variety of activities—such as arts and crafts, games, imaginative play, and outdoor exploration—designed to inspire curiosity and creativity. I value building strong, positive relationships with both children and their families, ensuring open communication and collaboration to meet every child’s unique needs.

My goal is to provide a holistic childcare experience that nurtures the physical, emotional, and intellectual development of each child.

Working days: Monday – Saturday
