Our high-quality, play based preschool curriculum is delivered by Bachelor qualified Early Childhood Teachers. Our teachers tailor their programs to ensure all children develop the confidence and social and emotional skills needed for a smooth transition to school. Through play, our Early Childhood Teachers facilitate children’s learning of important language, literacy, numeracy and creative skills.

My name is Peta, I'm the Centre Director At Goodstart Early Learning Moonee Ponds.
A little about myself
I have been working in the industry for just over 11 years. I have worked across numerous age groups, as an assistant and room leader. I then transferred to Goodstart Early Learning Richmond where I was the Assistant Director and am now the Centre Director and Moonee Ponds.
I am extremely passionate about my job.
Why I love Early learning
I love working with children and believe all children deserve the best in life, I love being able to work with children and help them achieve their goals and development areas as the first 5 years of their lives are the most important.
I enjoy being able to provide engaging and stimulating spaces for the children where they can feel free to express themselves.
I build strong relationships with both families and children, children thrive when they feel safe and secure and I believe that’s really important having those relationships with them.
I come from a Greek background and was raised in Australia, so I love to bring cultural awareness to our centre, I enjoy being able to celebrate all cultural celebrations and have everyone involved in cultural diversity as I find this important.

We’ve had such a great experience with Goodstart Early Learning and honestly couldn’t be happier with the centre.<br><br>Peta, the Centre Director, is usually the first person you see when you walk in and she’s always so friendly and welcoming. She greets you with a smile, always takes the time to say hello and have a chat, and just makes you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive.<br><br>The educators are all amazing too. Everyone is so caring, kind and approachable, and we’ve always felt that Isabella is in really good hands. You can tell they genuinely care about the kids and enjoy what they do.<br><br>The best part for us is seeing how happy Isabella is there. She loves going to childcare and is always excited when we arrive, which as a parent is probably the best feeling you can have.<br><br>The whole centre has a really warm and friendly atmosphere and we’ve always felt very welcome and comfortable there.<br><br>A big thank you to Peta and all the educators for taking such good care of Isabella and making Goodstart such a happy place for her. We really appreciate everything you do and would definitely recommend the centre to other families.
