Centre Reviews
I just came to this kindergarten, and I was really surprised. The receptionist lay on the ground and talked.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about our service. I am disappointed to read that you were not 100% happy with a few things as I believe that there has been a misunderstanding on some matters. We pride ourselves on the open communication that our Educators have with families. We actively communicate the daily events through our ChildCarers APP and will often talk to the parents on collection but unfortunately during the recent wave of COVID we are doing a concierge delivery to and from the foyer to limit the amount of people in our children’s play spaces to keep our community safe. In certain times, it is difficult for Educators to come to the foyer to talk due to adult to child ratio requirements in the classroom or the yards. In this case, Parents are encouraged to request a private meeting with their child’s Educator for a discussion. Confidentiality is very important, and we take this very seriously. Educators would rather have discussions privately rather than in a public area for other parents to hear. Late afternoon tea is offered at 4:30pm and it is always fresh fruit and if the children are still hungry, we do offer savoury biscuits. A light snack is offered rather than a meal so the children will still eat their dinner at home. Our Educators are very lucky, and we show our appreciation towards their hard work and dedication rewarding them with a cooked lunch or birthday cake on their special day. We recently were awarded “Centre of the Year” at The Avenues Annual Awards, as acknowledgement of that achievement our team was awarded a beautiful lunch. We feel it is extremely important to recognise our wonderful Educators. Our Avenues Sunnybank Hills team are long term Educators with one celebrating 20 years with the company this year, I believe that achievement speaks for itself and shows why we have very happy longstanding families enrolled at the service. We do hope this helps with clearing any concerns you may have. Regards Carla Hudson
