We have had a wonderful experience at Goodstart Early Learning Mount Waverley and couldn’t be happier with the care and support our son has received. A special thank you to Anne, the Centre Director, whose leadership, warmth, and professionalism truly set the tone for the centre. She is always approachable, supportive, and clearly cares deeply about both the children and families. We are especially grateful to our son’s educators, Dhani and Lavanya. They are kind, patient, and genuinely invested in the children’s development and wellbeing. Their nurturing approach has helped our son feel safe, confident, and excited to attend each day, which means so much to us as parents. State Government Approved Programs
Our high-quality, play based preschool curriculum is delivered by Bachelor qualified Early Childhood Teachers. Our teachers tailor their programs to ensure all children develop the confidence and social and emotional skills needed for a smooth transition to school. Through play, our Early Childhood Teachers facilitate children’s learning of important language, literacy, numeracy and creative skills.

They develop trust so the children can feel safe and secure while at the centre. Parents are also encouraged to share their insights and feedback with educators to add depth to the relationship.

Hi, I’m Anne Jayasingha and I’m the Centre Director here at Goodstart Mount Waverley.
I have been working in the Early Childhood sector since 2012 and I have been with Goodstart for almost 10 years.
As a Mother of one, I understand the importance of the Environment and Early childhood Intervention in building children’s learning and development.
I have held variety of roles within Goodstart including Senior Educator, Educational Leader, Inclusion Champion, Sustainability Champion, Safety Champion and Assistant Director.
I am an advocate of children’s rights and believe that children have the right to make their own decisions and choices.
I support educators in providing hands-on environment that promotes self-help skills and Independence that encourages curiosity, active learning, values, problem solving, language and literacy development and positive self-image.
Here at Goodstart Mount Waverley we believe that working collaboratively and having a successful partnership with our families and the community, we will be able to support children in reaching their full potential by providing them a nurturing, safe, active and challenging environment that is conducive to overall health and wellbeing.

My kids went to Goodstart Mount Waverley from Nursery right through to Kinder. The staff and the centre director has been great. The centre director Anne knows every child by name and we couldn't be happier with the way she runs the centre. The staff that work there have all been there for a long time. They all are caring and kind and look after the children like their own. The centre it self is well designed to provide maximum visibility over the children. They are in a safe environment that is new and modern. We highly recommend Goodstart Mount Waverley.

Its bittersweet that our son is now transferring to another Good Start at another suburb but all I can say is over the last year of having our son in their care is the best decision ever made. Our son has learn so much in their care and things we have never thought of he will learn at his age. Just want to say a BIG massive thank you to Anne and her team for their hard work and dedication as early childhood educators.
