Meet the team

Meet the team

At Edge Seacombe Heights, our leadership team are passionate about family values and respect for every child’s unique interests. We build strong, trusting relationships with children and families through open, consistent communication as we understand this is crucial for your child's successful learning journey.

Our team believes every child has the right to learn at their own pace and we respect that each child learns differently. Children naturally respond to “play”, so it’s vital to a child’s learning that their interests are followed and nurtured. As a child “plays” they learn real life skills. We support and help children develop cognitive skills like patience and confidence naturally with enjoyment and interest.

“It takes a village to raise a child”… therefore building positive and supportive relationships with families is so important. At Seacombe Heights, you and your children will always be respected and heard. We will provide engaging environments and experiences that will extend your child’s interests and learning daily as we nurture their individuality.

Safety

Safety

Edge Early Learning Seacombe Heights is unwavering in our commitment to ensuring that our centre provides a secure and nurturing environment where your child’s wellbeing is always our top priority.

  • Our dedicated team prioritises safeguarding children through daily practices, educational programs, and adherence to national child safety principles.
  • Our 3–5 years rooms benefit from a 1:9 ratio of educators to children (versus the regulated 1:11 ratio), meaning your child will receive an enhanced level of individualised care and supervision.
  • Our supervisory and senior staff complete regular Child Protection and Mandatory Reporting training.
  • We proudly work with Life Ed, Bravehearts and other similar child safety advocate organisations to strengthen the personal safety education within our programming.
  • Our S.A.F.E. framework (Spot, Act, Fix, Explain) requires staff to speak up if they see or suspect something isn’t right. With S.A.F.E. in place, we have created a culture of accountability where reporting is expected and encouraged.
  • Our Active Supervision policy ensures all team members understand the importance of Plan, Position, Look & Listen.

Our daughter started at Edge Seacombe Heights in April this year, and it’s truly been the best decision we’ve made. The educators are so caring, approachable, and supportive. Since joining, she has learned so much and always comes home happy.  We’re so grateful to have found such a beautiful place with a great team of educators and staff.

Response from the owner 08 Oct 2025

Edge early learning seacombe heights is a huge stand out among other childcare’s! It is modern, run by beautiful, experienced staff and they make you and your child feel so welcome and important. Leaving my son was extremely daunting for me until I found edge, they made the whole process so seamless and take care of him so well. He is so happy when he is there and comes home in the best mood! They take direction for parents and try and do everything in your routine and are really interested in getting to know your child as a whole. My son has so much fun with lots of outdoor play and enrichment activities, with great food for meals also. I could not recommend edge enough to other families!!!

My son attends Edge Early Learning Seacombe Heights, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. He absolutely loves it there, and as parents, we truly appreciate the structured and organised environment the centre provides. The playground is fantastic—such a wonderful space for the children to explore and play. A specially Tamie, the centre director, whose warm and welcoming nature makes a world of difference. She is always approachable and supportive. My child’s educators, Anna and Sukh. Their genuine smiles and kind demeanour give me great confidence every morning as I leave my child in their care. They truly understand and cater to each child’s individual needs, tailoring their care in such a thoughtful way. We sincerely appreciate everything the team at Edge does. Thank you for creating such a nurturing and enriching environment for our children.
