Hello, my name is Karen, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and have over 10 years of experience leading, mentoring, and managing teams. I’m passionate about working with children, families, and the community, and my energy and enthusiasm will inspire you all.

I am committed to building a rapport with children, families and my team. I believe in partnering with families and providing an environment where children feel nurtured and safe. A home away from home.

Rigorous Recruitment & Screening - All Eden team members undergo thorough checks — including Working With Children, ID, work history, references, right to work, background, and child protection training — to ensure the highest safety standards.

Ongoing Staff Training - Our educators and leaders regularly complete professional development in child protection, identifying signs of harm, mandatory reporting, and creating safe spaces.

Clear Policies & Procedures - We have strong systems in place for reporting and responding to concerns, guided by our Child Protection Policy, Code of Conduct, and Risk Management and Incident Reporting processes.

The seasonal menu of nutritious meals and snacks was created with the on-site chef. The centre holds regular consultations with parents to stay up to date with each individual child’s nutritional needs, to exchange recipes and tips, and also to introduce more cultural diversity to the menus. 

The centre understands the needs of busy families, which is why they offer a take home meal to parents each week. There is also complimentary morning tea for parents to enjoy as part of the morning drop off.

Children at this nut-free centre can enjoy meals such as veggie packed beef bolognese with pasta, fried rice or roast chicken; and snacks such as fruit platters, muffins, and homemade dips with crackers.  The menus are in alignment with the Australian dietary requirements and are consistent with the recommendations in the Australian Governments ‘get up and grow’ program.
