St. Anns OSHC has recently introduced $5 Non-Communication Fee where absences are not communicated in advance, which is ridiculous as regardless you’d still... St. Anns OSHC has recently introduced $5 Non-Communication Fee where absences are not communicated in advance, which is ridiculous as regardless you’d still have to pay the OSHC fee. Their reasoning is to help them manage staffing. The same fee will be applied if you don’t sign your child in or out which I understand could be for safety purposes too. I believe most families would normally contact the facility if their child is not attending OSHC and sign their kids in and out of the facility apart from the occasional times you might forget. Their communication is just as bad as numerous times I have tried to do a casual booking a week in advance and I have been told I will be notified by email if they can facilitate it but there’s usually no correspondence. We enjoyed majority of first year of kindy (daughter was 3.5 at the time) and her incredible teacher left in September last year... We enjoyed majority of first year of kindy (daughter was 3.5 at the time) and her incredible teacher left in September last year (2023). Since then it has gone downhill I don’t know how it can get any worse. Multiple changeovers in staff, investigations, upset parents, no update on a new kindy teacher less then two weeks from the beginning of term. Stuck through it and less then 2 weeks before the first day of kindy to be told they still haven’t recruited a teacher and will no longer offer morning and after school care for kindy kids!? No notice. No care. Absolutely appalling and so disappointing. I would honestly not waste your time. Read more
