Sharing my little one with the world was a very uncomfortable thing for our little family. But, I cannot fault the commitment to my little girl at all. Edge has worked with the pair of us to get us comfortable and confident without each other! (Not to mention the unwavering support from other mummies and daddies, when we both been a bit tearful upon leaving! 🥰) If you are in two minds of if you should or shouldn't. Edge is your place! Ongoing liaison has made it easier and more comforting to me as a mummy that suffers from anxiety! Thank you to all educators and staff that are so diligent and helpful and kind! 🫶🏼😘 Read more

Our experience at Edge North Harbour has been such a positive one, especially in comparison to our past experiences. The entire team have been so warm and welcoming, going above and beyond to help my boys through their transition. Drop-offs can still be a little tricky (particularly when I head off to a different room myself), but they’re settling in beautifully and are genuinely enjoying their days. The bonds they’re forming with their educators are so lovely to see—it’s clear they feel safe and cared for, and that’s all I could ask for. A big thank you to all the girls for making us feel part of the Edge family 💚 Read more

In January 2012 the National Quality Framework (NQF) came into effect across Australia.
The purpose of the NQF is to improve and standardise the quality of child care through a
range of measures including better staff to child ratios, higher staff qualifications
and an assessment and rating system designed to promote continuous improvement.
Under the NQF child care services are assessed and rated against the National Quality Standards (NQS).
The NQS measures the quality of early childhood education and care in Australia. It will cover
most long day care, family day care, preschool/kindergarten and outside school hours care services.
Under these standards child care services will be assessed and rated against the
seven quality areas, 18 standards and 58 elements that make up the NQS.
