Such a beautiful and supportive learning environment. My child and my family have had such a wonderful experience with this centre. The educators are all so well trained and the focus on outdoor exploration of the environment is amazing. Cannot recommend Heritage ECC enough.

Heritage is such a wonderful centre, the facilities are so fun and engaging and the staff truly are the heart of the centre. Words cannot express how much my family and I appreciate each and every staff member. When my child's grandmother passed away, the staff were so amazing at helping him process grief, lent us books to read to him and just gave us all so much support. I highly recommend this early learning centre.

If we could give Heritage more stars, we would. Our children attended the centre over 8 years and we always felt very confident they were safe and well cared for. The staff are deeply committed and bring to their roles warmth, passion, and long experience, with little turnover over the years. Heritage is a calm and happy place, continually making small improvements to enrich the learning spaces and educational experience. We loved the forest school philosophy, shown in the huge gardens, regular walks to the lake and museum, and bus adventures for the older kids. Heritage felt like a family and exceeded all our expectations for childcare.

About Heritage Early Childhood Centre

Heritage works to create a warm and inclusive family atmosphere where all educators and families feel inspired to work together in a genuine collaborative partnership focused on providing a dynamic learning environment to ensure each child realises their full potential.
Regardless of race, gender, age, ability, social status or family structure, our vision is to ensure each child is able to participate in all aspects of the program. We value the different gifts that each child brings to our community and embrace the many world cultures represented at Heritage. We celebrate our multicultural roots for the wealth of knowledge and understanding they bring to our community. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, identities, perspectives and connections to community and country are valued for their ways of being, knowing and doing. We are committed to building relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples within our community to help break down barriers and move forward together with equity and equality. We foster opportunities for First Nations and non-Indigenous children to explore and engage with the wider community, go outside the fence, and be hands-on with authentic learning on Country. We are a community-based centre committed to supporting other small communities and organisations. We understand the importance of connecting children with the natural world to develop their respect for sustainability and to maintain the health and beauty of our environment and the surrounding landscape. We believe in encouraging children to express themselves and their opinions and allow them to undertake experiences that develop self-reliance, resilience and self-esteem.
We understand that learning can happen every moment of every day, and it is our intention to “make the most of every moment".
