About My Story - Experiential Early Learning

“Families Supporting Families”

My Story is owned and directed by two families. We understand you. We are you. Like you, we juggle careers, young children, relationships, family life, domestic responsibilities, financial planning… all on top of limited sleep!!

Like you, we look for empathy, flexibility, understanding and personalised care in the services we engage and that’s why you will receive the same attention at My Story. We believe our community of care will become invaluable to you, your child – indeed your whole family – because it is the care and support we depend upon ourselves. We believe such a fabric of mutual support is a unique experience that you will not find in centres run by investors.

My son has attended Wakefield from around 6 months old, he is now almost 3. Not only has he developed friendships but we have too. I have never met a more caring bunch of people who have the kids best interest at heart. My son loves it and loves his teachers. I can go to work knowing that he is in the best care but also learning new things everyday. I am not looking forward to the day when he finishes at Wakefield and attends big school. Nicky Govender
My daughter is about to graduate from the Senior room to Kindergarten next year (2013) and has been there for just under 3 years. I couldn't possibly trust anyone more than the staff at Wakefield, and over the time we've been with the centre, have felt it to be almost a second home for my daughter and I. I know that the staff have the best interests of all of the kids at heart and form very special bonds with them. They also have always maintained a very high standard of care with my daughter (and I'm sure all of the other children in their care) from the moment she started attending. I would highly recommend anyone who are hesitant to put their children in care to send them to Wakefield because I trust them and know that they have always taken the best of care of my daughter. K.
