My two boys have been attending Nido Southern River for 4 years now and while we have lost some wonderful Educators along the way, some amazing ones still remain and that is what has kept us to stick with Nido Southern River. The genuine care the Educators have for our children is something us parents truly value and appreciate. The new Manager, Jas, is so kind, caring, understanding & supportive and provides real responses to any feedback or concerns we have with respect and kindness for us and our children. Not just a robotic textbook answer. She shows much empathy and that is irreplaceable in a manager where parents put their trust in a place to care for their children. The Educators are like family and we love them all. Abi has always treated our children like they were her own and is such a beautiful soul. Our boys adore her. Mona is such a friendly, happy & kind person and the children just light up with her. Mie, Jamie, Kevin, and Zainab are also such amazing educators and our children love them all. We also appreciate the relief staff that help and although we are always busy and don't often see you, we remember you, thank you Rajitha, Stella and Manisha. And we can't forget Gemma the amazing Chef, Brooke and Kirsty who make up the wonderful team heart at Nido Southern River. Thank you all for your ongoing care and support for our children. We are soooo happy😀 We have now found our... **not a buisness advertising post! Personal experience DAYCARES Nido Southern River (Balfour Street), this centre is absolutely fabulous. We are soooo happy😀 We have now found our forever daycare. We have two littles, our toddler is beyond happy. He settled in right away. Drop-off was far less anxiety-provoking than any other centre. We are addressed each morning by name with a smile and a friendly hug for our boy. I was anxious, but the educators always answered any questions we had. Initially, they sent a little update after lunch each day. Our four-year-old, who has some mega daycare trauma, is doing so well there. Brooke and her team have gone above and beyond with some accommodations made for her specific needs at present. They are open and honest about her day and are not afraid to let us know if there were some tears. We are slowly working through it, and she is adjusting to daycare again, and we are having small positive sessions. They take her lead, ask our opinion, and never fail to reassure her she is okay. Choosing a daycare is one of the most stressful things as a parent. Choosing who to leave your precious littles with is no easy situation. It's not always about the "name”; it's the people that work there, the "family" feel at this centre is beyond "up to standards," lovely smell oils in the diffuser, and beautiful calming music, a friendly cook and clean, spacious areas throughout. Just a little shout out to our "formal village". We appreciate and are grateful for you all. Read more
