My daughter is 3 and has been at Little Ducks for two years. Stewart has been super helpful from the beginning of our journey. It is clear that the children and staff appreciate his guidance in the centre. The women in the under 2’s team were fantastic, and helped my daughter’s transition comfortably from full time mum to part time childcare. I am also grateful for the over 2’s team and the care they show my daughter. She has especially enjoyed the dancing and yoga, and the water play she does as part of the program. Finally, I have appreciated the healthy, child friendly food they provide each day.

We’ve had 2 kids go through Six Little Ducks from babies to 5yo, across 6 years. Stewart, Dia and the team have been consistent across that whole time and it has been a stable and reliable childcare for our family. Like any daycare, we’ve had issues that we needed to talk about (none serious) along the way and Stewart, Dia, Joyce - the whole staff - were always keen to listen, wanted to understand and were accommodating. I would definitely recommend Six Little Ducks and also suggest you talk to the staff as much as you can/need to, because they are very caring and open. We have also appreciated the stability of staff at Six Little Ducks. There are many long-term staff who have been there the whole time we have, or close. This is great for the kids, as they get to know them well over their little years.

My children have been attending Six Little Ducks Early Learning Centre for the past three years. My five year old finishes this year as she is off to school, she started at 2 and my 13 month old is currently enrolled full time, she started at 7mths old. I cannot speak highly enough of how amazing this centre is. My children are the best barometer. Both of them have such wonderful relationships with the staff that are caring for them. The smiles, hugs and high level care and education they receive is second to none. There is an amazing focus on outdoor hands on activities from cooking to gardening to yoga lessons. The educators also provide structured learning time focussing on different themes that incorporate reading and developing numeric and phonetic awareness. Every week you can see what the educators in your child’s room are planning for the week and how it links to the Early Years Learning Framework which you can see through the online portal provided to parents. The portal is a fabulous way to see what your child is achieving and to see sleep times, nappy change info and photos of the activities they have participated in during the day. The Director and management team of the centre are always open, friendly and happy to discuss anything at anytime. You really feel part of the community that they have all worked tirelessly to create. I have received so much guidance and help as well. Especially with my eldest when I needed ideas to help with toilet training or weaning off a dummy no matter what the topic they helped and supported the process with ideas and creating routines at childcare that I could follow on with at home. The centre is an amazing home for your child for the day and it is structured in a large two storey home with a very large outdoor area. It is currently undergoing a facelift and it is fabulous to see everyone participating in this process. It is bright and welcoming with large shaded areas outside and includes a sandpit with playground and a wonderful water play area for those hotter months which the children just love. If you are looking for an amazing centre where children can be children and receive high level care then I implore you to make a time to walkthrough the centre to see it for yourself.

Stewart and the entire team at Six Little Ducks are fantastic! If you’re looking for a family feel, kids to have freedom to get dirty and be a kid then look no further! They also supply morning tea, afternoon tea AND lunch, which I find to be fantastic as it’s then one less thing I have to worry about in the mad morning rush. They are always uploading pictures about your child’s day on their app, which I love looking at so I know what to ask my son about when I pick him up. My son has made great friendships while attending this daycare and you’re never made to feel uncomfortable to ask questions to the workers. Highly recommend xx

I am delighted to share my positive experience of this wonderful Six Little Ducks child care. Both of my children attended this facility and I cannot speak highly enough of the exceptional care they received. The child care is truly child-centered, with a focus on nature play and fostering a love for the outdoors. The staff are incredibly loving and caring, creating a warm and nurturing environment for all children and their families.

Our little boy enjoys his time at six little ducks, amazing well qualified educators and they care about your kid(s) as their own, not just a job to them. Loads fun and educational activities throughout the day, plus heaps of outdoor play when the weather allows, my boy often comes home with dirty clothes but you’ll see how much they enjoyed the day from painting and mud on his clothes. We all love six little ducks x

Six Little Ducks looked after my daughter from before she was 1 until she started Pre-school. I have nothing but good things to say about the team. My daughter never had a bad day and still loves to catch up with everyone. Staff are down to earth and great people, and provided a healthy family orientated environment. 6 Stars for 6 Ducks

What is a Top Rated Centre? A top rated centre must have 5 star average reviews rating, as well as 'Exceeding' or 'Excellent' NQS rating. The National Quality Standards are a set of national benchmarks for early childhood education and care services. It includes seven quality areas like "Children's health and safety" and "Educational program and practice".
Criteria:
The National Quality Standard (NQS) is part of the National Quality Framework (NQF), introduced to enhance the quality of early childhood education and care services in Australia. Developed by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA), the NQS provides a benchmark for childcare services, from long day care and family day care to preschools, kindergartens, and outside school hours care. Under the NQS, childcare services are assessed and rated for the quality of education and care they provide. These ratings give parents a clear understanding of how well a service meets national standards, helping them make the best choice for their child’s needs.
Our average ratings are pulled from verified reviews from Google Reviews and direct parent reviews posted on the Care For Kids website.
Verified Centres are vetted by Care for Kids. As part of this process, Verified Centres undergo a financial assessment to ensure their reliability and credibility. We maintain an ongoing relationship with Verified Centres and provide them with support so they can offer you fresh and accurate information.
