We enjoyed our time at Little Star, and the teachers were warm, caring, and looked after my child very well. However, over the past few months we observed the centre more closely and were not impressed with the curriculum. At both pick-up and drop-off, the environment often looked dull, with limited displays of children’s artwork. The toys did not appear well organised or regularly updated. In the past month, we also noticed fewer staff present, and the educator-to-child ratio seemed stretched. On several occasions during pick-up and drop-off, there appeared to be only one educator in a room, which resulted in fewer structured or stimulating activities for the children. Based on our experience, we would not recommend Little Star to families who are looking for a strong focus on quality learning, particularly in the preschool room.

We are so grateful to have found this childcare centre. Every staff member we have dealt with, from administration to the educators and even the chef, has always been kind, friendly and an absolute pleasure to deal with. The educators are genuinely caring, patient and attentive. Whenever I collect my sons, the children always seem happy, and the teachers are warm, engaged and clearly very caring towards them. On the rare occasion I have seen a child upset, the staff have always responded with kindness and patience. I have two very active boys who can be emotionally demanding at times, and the teachers handle them so well. They are always patient, understanding and supportive, which gives me peace of mind as a parent. I also really appreciate how approachable the staff are — whenever I have had a question, they have always taken the time to listen and help. I love that the children spend so much time outdoors, and the regular updates and photos throughout the day are such a lovely touch. I would highly recommend this centre to any family looking for a caring, supportive and well-run environment for their children.

Our kids absolutely love going here. Our youngest has been going for the last 2 years and our 1 year old just started here too. The kids always have so much fun, and the educators are attentive, and show a lot of love and care which shows in the way the kids interact with them too. They also have plenty of engaging activities that keep the children learning and entertained throughout the day. An added bonus is the food provided is wholesome and healthy, which gives real peace of mind too.

We have been attending Little Star daycare centre for the past two years and have been very happy with our experience. The staff are warm, caring and genuinely supportive, creating a lovely and welcoming atmosphere for the children. My daughter absolutely loves coming here and always looks forward to her time at the centre. There is a great variety of activities, including both play-based and educational programs, as well as excellent facilities. We truly appreciate the care and attention provided and would highly recommend this daycare.

We are very happy with this daycare since our child started attending. The educators and staff are genuinely caring, attentive, and treat each child as an individual, which really stands out. The environment is clean, safe, and very child-friendly. The daily activities are well-organized and include a great balance of play and learning that supports children’s development. Since joining, our child has become more confident, active, and interested in learning new things. Communication with parents is also excellent. We receive regular updates about our child’s day, including meals, naps, and activities, which gives us a lot of reassurance and peace of mind. Overall, we highly recommend this daycare. It is a warm, trustworthy place where we feel comfortable leaving our child.
