At Little Learners, we’ve been helping children grow, learn and thrive since 2014. We welcome babies through to preschoolers (0–6 years) in a safe, caring environment where learning happens naturally—through play, connection and discovery.
Our philosophy is simple: we believe childhood should be joyful, unhurried and deeply connected to nature. When children spend time outdoors, getting their hands dirty and with their imaginations firing, they build confidence, creativity and a lifelong love for the world around them.
Our Nature-Based Approach
Every day at Little Learners is an adventure. Children explore thoughtfully designed outdoor spaces that encourage curiosity, resilience and wonder. They balance on logs, climb over rocks, splash in water play areas, explore our creek bed, grow vegetables, compost food scraps and help care for our much‑loved heritage chickens.
We have over 30 beautiful mature Australian native trees in our two large outdoor Nature Playgrounds covering over 560m² for your children to explore. Our Nature Playground surfaces are environmentally friendly, natural, and sourced locally from top-quality sustainable Western Australian materials. The soft fall mulch is splinter free and accredited to Australian Standard certification.
Why Nature Matters
Research shows that time in nature supports:
Emotional well-being – calming environments reduce stress and promote happiness.
Physical development – climbing, balancing, and exploring build strength and coordination.
Cognitive growth – hands-on experiences spark problem solving and critical thinking.
Environmental responsibility – children learn to care for the planet through sustainable practices.
What Sets Us Apart
Two large nature playgrounds spanning over 560m²
Natural, eco‑friendly surfaces (no fake grass)
30+ mature Australian native trees
Creek bed adventures and an outdoor fire pit
The option to sleep outdoors (introduced in 2017 for children aged 2 and above – not babies)
Animal husbandry: feeding our heritage chickens and collecting fresh eggs
