My son has been at Guardian Everton Hills since he was 8 months old. The centre has gone through some changes in management over the past 2 years and I very nearly pulled him out because of the staff turnover and poor management about 2 years ago. The one person who kept me going was Teacher Cathy. He was in pre-kindy and started to thrive and had a lot of consistency and support from her style of educational care. We were so happy that the centre management was replaced by amazing organiserd manager, Kayla who's priority is to support the staff in order to support the children. The staff have been so happy and consistent since and the extra care and communication has been such a welcome. Teacher Cathy has been an absolute rock. She was the first teacher to notice my son was behind in some of his milestones and was always very kind and honest in our ad hoc catch ups at pick up and drop off. Because of her we were able to support our son with OT and SP with NDIS support, a journey I previously knew nothing about. We were very close to keeping our son behind another year in kindy but because of her proactive approach and supporting us and our son along the journey, he has exceeded all expectations. He is a bright child who loves to learn. As a kid going into Prep, who could only scribble up and down on the beginning of this year, he is now writing letters, drawing pictures, adding and knows all the letters of the alphabet, these things dont matter to us as parents as long as our children are happy, it has been such a big boost in confidence in our son that has set him up to be enthusiastic to learn and grow. She makes learning fun and involved. Our OT did a school visit as well and reported back on how in tune she is with balancing the kids interest in learning and their age appropriate attention spans. I also love that she had afternoon quite time with the kids, no pressure to sleep or rest. Some kids slept and others like my son rested their bodies while reading books. I always know when she is away because he hasn't had his book rest time. She is truly one of a kind and Guardian are so lucky to have her❤️ She has set our son up for success with her balanced approach and we are eternally grateful!

Everton hills Guardian childcare centre is amazing with dedicated and professional staff. The educators create a nurturing environment while supporting learning through fun and engaging activities. Communication with parents is excellent, and we always feel confident leaving our child in their care.

We have had such a wonderful experience at Guardian Childcare & Education Everton Hills. From the moment we joined, we have felt welcomed, supported and confident that our child is cared for in a warm and nurturing environment. A special mention to Kayla (Centre Manager) — she is genuinely outstanding. Kayla is approachable, organised and truly passionate about the centre and children's safety. Her leadership creates such a positive culture, and it’s clear she works hard to ensure families feel informed and supported. The programming is high quality and meaningful, with so much thought put into children’s learning and development. The educators plan engaging experiences that are both fun and educational, and we love seeing the variety of activities and learning opportunities available each day. The indoor and outdoor environments are also fantastic — inviting, well set up, and intentionally designed to support play, exploration and independence. The spaces feel safe, stimulating and welcoming, and you can tell the centre takes pride in maintaining beautiful learning environments. We highly recommend Guardian Everton Hills to any family looking for a supportive, professional and high-quality childcare centre.

The warm, welcoming greeting does not reflect the level of care your child will actually receive. Operationally, the centre is poorly managed, with deep-rooted issues that remain unaddressed. These include continual staff turnover, room ratios frequently not being maintained (despite being raised with staff many times), and ongoing hygiene concerns. When a child comes home saying they saw someone drink from a toilet bowl, that alone should raise serious alarm. Staff have an extremely challenging job, and I respect how difficult their work is—especially for the pay they receive. However, this does not excuse what I have witnessed: children throwing rocks and even wielding bricks at staff, and my own son being kicked after being surrounded by other children. When these incidents are raised with management, the response is consistently one of ignorance or detachment. That lack of awareness exists because what is happening on the floor is not being properly monitored or managed. This centre lacks leadership, accountability, and integrity. Without a change in leadership at the very top, the centre’s entrenched culture and serious operational failures will continue to go unaddressed. I would caution anyone who is impressed by the outward environment to look deeper—this is not about appearances, but about the standard of care your child will receive. Unfortunately, the staff who once provided quality care have all since left the centre. It’s comforting to believe your child is treated as an individual, but when you seek accountability, clarity, and integrity, the reality becomes clear—your child is treated as just another number and management protect their profit & loss rather than do what is right.

Finally found a centre who's doing real curriculum in Kindy (school readiness), Miss Kathy who teaches children with great passion, kids focus in their cognitive and literacy learning, great communication and very friendly educators .Love it.

We have been at Guardian for nearly 3 years, and have had two children go through. I cannot overstate how wonderful our time at the centre has been, especially the last 12 months under new centre manager, Kayla’s stewardship. She has been a massive support for our family this year and we are so grateful for her kindness. Nothing has been too much trouble. Kayla has made significant improvements in the centre’s overall management, appearance, and communication. For example, the outdoor areas are currently undergoing a staged revamp. We have been kept updated about the progress of this since the application for improvement was undertaken, as well as how long they will go for, and how the children will be managed while the works are undertaken. We also have regular community events planned and facilitated by the centre for weekends, which is a wonderful way for busy families to connect with each other beyond the pick up/drop off chat. Over our time at Guardian, our children have been consistently well-cared for by their educators, and are genuinely happy to go to daycare. Every educator has been wonderful. They’ve taken the time to get to know our kids, and the relationships they have built are obvious in how at ease our children are in their care. It is a testament to our satisfaction with Guardian Everton Hills that even after moving an hour away from the centre, we still send our children here. We have paused our enrolment for the rest of this year for personal reasons, but we will be returning in 2026 and cannot wait to be back.

Very disappointing end to having two children in care at this centre for 4 1/2 yrs, we had to make the decision to remove our child due to safety issues that the management do not act in the best interest of all children, ask the centre manager if you are thinking of attending to provide information on how they manage incidents. We have also been over charged multiple times over the years and the accounts team do everything in their power to hold your money even when they have admitted they are at fault. Staff turn over is a massive issue, during the past few years there has been multiple manager changes and staff transition in and out frequently, ratios don't seem to match up when you pick up your kids and when you ask staff what is going on most don't have an answer as they are just temp fill ins for the day, unfortunately for the few longer term workers they all admit they are over worked with little assistance from management. Due to upcoming works that will be carried out the centre is going to be a mess for quite some time and the children will be spending a lot of time inside. Do your research and explore other centres before coming here.

I highly recommend Guardian Everton Hills. We've experienced several different centres over the years — including ones in Arana Hills and Northern NSW — and none have come close to the level of care and support we've found here. From the very beginning, we’ve felt genuinely seen and valued as a family. It never feels like we’re just another number. I leave my children each day with complete peace of mind, knowing they’re in safe, caring, and capable hands.

Kayla has recently taken over as centre manager to Everton Hills and can not fault. She has been amazing, friendly face to walk into on mornings and afternoons. Lots of updates which is what we love. Highly recommend this centre. Also seems to have less turnover of staff recently where our favourite teachers have been there for a while now.

We have been with Guardian Everton hills for over a year and a half. Being first time parents, sending your child into care is difficult, however, guardian has always ensured that our daughter is well looked after and cared for by their staff. The centre has recently been given a 'face lift' with new lighting, painting and furniture. The manager, Kayla has been a well needed breathe of fresh air. We receive regular updates about staff training and happenings within the centre as well as a noticeable difference in the overall cleanliness of the rooms. The educators are wonderful, despite running after toddlers all day they still greet you with a smile and give you a detailed handover of your child's day. It is easy to see that they are passionate about their jobs and generally care for your babies. Miss Nicole, Miss Aparna, Miss Maria, and Miss Irene you are wonderful and we appreciate you so much! If you are looking for a dedicated, nurturing centre with skilled educators, I believe Guardian Everton hills is perfect for you.
