At Okinja Early Learning, we believe in providing a warm, loving environment where children grow into strong and successful young people.
Our beautiful handcrafted timber dragonfly located in the children’s playground represents change, transition and adaptability, and we have incorporated this into our logo to reflect the nature of what we do. The first five years of a child’s life are a special time where change and growth occur more rapidly than at any other age! At Okinja, we provide a loving and supportive place where children can learn, grow and transition into confident young people.
Our rooms are:
We offer a variety of curricula activities including language, music lessons, movement classes and sports programs. Our Centre provides morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. These nutritious meals are prepared in accordance with Nutrition Australia Guidelines. Meals are provided by age stage for young infants, in consultation with families.
Daily communication is via Kindy Hub, a communication platform for families to share their children’s experiences through photos, stories and learning outcomes.
Our Educators are committed to providing the best quality care and education, working collaboratively with families, respecting their decisions and rights as the child’s first educators.
Our Educators are very experienced and dedicated to the wellbeing and education of the children entrusted into our care, accommodating and responding to children’s individual needs and feelings. We allow children to develop a sense of wellbeing where they feel encouraged to explore every aspect of their world.
Our dedicated educators are highly qualified and guided in best practice in accordance with the National Quality Framework which encompasses the Education and Care Services National Law and National Regulations and the National Quality Standard.
