Hi there, I’m Zoe!

I am the Centre Manager at Eden Academy Redbank Plains. I love working with all the families here at the Centre. I have been with Eden Academy since 2021 and value the wonderful working culture. I started off as Lead Educator, then progressed to Assistant Manager to now the Centre Manager.
Getting to know the children and families is so rewarding, and as a parent myself I can appreciate how important the relationship between children and families is. I see firsthand how precious the Early Years are because they pass by so quickly! I love watching the children learn and grow. It’s amazing to see how much they change over a couple of years.
I take great pride in knowing that our Centre strives for the highest quality of care, our established Centers philosophy prompts Strong Respectful relationships, A Safe Secure Environment, Inclusivity and Connecting with Nature. We have a wonderful Team who are dedicated and truly amazing at what they do.
In my spare time, I like to be outdoors, spend time with families, and go camping. I am so lucky to have the opportunity to work with such wonderful children, families, co-workers! I hope to see you soon!

Redbank Plains Centre Manager

With a holistic focus, the program at Eden Academy ensures the children grow in all areas of their development. This includes social, emotional, physical and cognitive skill development. 

Nature is an important part of the program, teaching the children to respect and care for the environment. The children learn how vegetables grow and enjoy nature play activities. They understand the calm of spending time outdoors and enjoy all of nature’s creations.

Health and well-being are another focus of the program. The children learn about healthy eating and nutrition through the meals prepared by the centre chef. The centre also worked with allied health professionals, including speech pathologists, physiotherapists and occupational therapists, to ensure the children have every opportunity to thrive.

The relationships between educators and families at Eden Academy are professional and respectful, based on open communication. The centre fosters a strong sense of community and values the role families play in this.

Through play-based learning and fun activities, the educators at Eden Academy teach a holistic and age-appropriate curriculum. Aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework, the curriculum goes above and beyond to nurture each child and their unique talents, needs, and interests.

The curriculum is delivered across four different learning environments:

• Nursery (0 – 15 Months): the educators foster the children’s imagination, providing them with sensory experiences and opportunities for mindfulness.

• Toddler (15 Months – 2 Years): the children develop their social and emotional skills, including sharing and independence.

• Pre-Kindy (2 – 3 Years): the educators balance fun and play with a steady introduction to structured learning. The children develop early friendships and build on the foundations of their physical and motor skills.

• Kindergarten (3 – 5 Years): the children start to prepare for the transition to school through a more formal learning environment. Rest, play and fun are still important elements in the day, with imaginative and sensory activities that help to build critical thinking, confidence and independence.
