Goodstart Cessnock, established in 2005, is a 75-place centre located near schools and local shops. We cater to children aged six weeks to school age, providing care 52 weeks a year, only closing on weekends and public holidays.

Our comprehensive preschool programme focuses on eight key learning areas, including literacy, numeracy, and technology, while fostering social and emotional development. Our qualified and motivated educators design play-based programmes tailored to each child’s age-appropriate skills, strengths, and interests.

All our rooms, from Nursery to Preschool, align with the Early Years Learning Framework, featuring sensory and play-based learning opportunities. We ensure a creative and stimulating environment, allowing children to grow through exploration.

Our Storypark platform keeps families connected, fostering open communication. It helps educators tailor programmes to meet individual needs, allowing families to contribute and share their experiences.

Outside, we have two play areas equipped with age-appropriate spaces, including sandpits, a wooden boat, a bike track, veggie patches, and a mud pit, all shaded and spacious for exploration.

We actively encourage parent involvement, with events like our annual Easter Hat Parade, Grandparent's Day, and end-of-year celebrations, strengthening our community connections. We warmly invite you to tour our lovely centre.
