We’ve had such a wonderful experience with Little Wildflower School. Since our son started there, all the educators have been incredibly supportive in helping him settle in and feel comfortable during the transition. It made such a difference for us as parents to see how patient, warm and attentive they were. One of the things we really love is that it isn’t a huge daycare with lots of children. It feels more personal and calm, and the educators genuinely know each child and their individual needs. All of the educators are friendly, caring and approachable, and we can already see how much our son is learning and growing. He now loves going to daycare. We couldn’t be happier with our choice!

Little Wildflower has been an exceptional experience for my 4 year old. The carers take time to nurture and connect with the children. The staff are so friendly and helpful and really care about the children and their individual needs. The classes are structured with so much learning and many wonderful activities. My 4 year old has made some great friends and loves going to daycare. The food is healthy and delicious. I can’t recommend this daycare enough. It’s been all regular caring teachers and it’s open great hours for working parents. Thank you Little Wildflower for all you have done, I’m very grateful.

We couldn’t be happier with this daycare. Both of my girls (ages 1 and 3) absolutely love going each day, which says everything. The staff are genuinely compassionate and form such strong, meaningful connections with the children. It truly feels like a community or extended family, rather than just a centre where kids are dropped off. The consistency of the team makes such a difference. Every educator is kind, caring, supportive, and really takes the time to know each child individually. Drop-offs and pick-ups are always a positive experience, which gives so much peace of mind as a parent. It’s so clear that they care for the children as if they were their own. They also provide healthy, nutritious food and clearly understand how important that is for young growing kids. We feel incredibly lucky to be part of this daycare and couldn’t recommend it more highly.
Little Wildflower School is a small 45 place centre located on a residential street in Forestville. We are independant and owned by a local family who are active members of the community and passionate about education.
Getting school ready? We offer the 3 and 4-year-old Government-approved Preschool program that helps ensure your child has a successful transition to formal schooling. We are approved to offer the child care subsidy from the Federal Government and also the Start Strong NSW Government funding for preschools.
With underground parking and located a few minutes walk from Forestville village centre, shops and the supermarket, drop off and pick up is a breeze.
We have a warm and friendly community of families, many of whom have been with us for a long time with all their children being educated by us. It is not unusual to see a parent building something with the children or a grandparent sitting down reading with the children!
We have a very tight knit and dedicated group of long term staff who adore their job and the beauiful children they have the honour of teaching.
We offer many extra curricular activities including soccer and multi - sports; french language and culture; dance and movement; garden cub and science and technology.
We have an in-house chef who cooks healthy, fresh food for the children every day and often involved them in making food to learn about healthy eating.
