Our family love this centre and it has become our second home. It is clean, has great facilities and the staff are kind and caring. A parent knows if their child is truly happy and I never have to question whether my son’s physical or emotional wellbeing needs are being met.

We are very happy with this childcare centre and highly recommend it. My daughter loves going every morning and is always happy and excited to attend. The centre is clean, welcoming, and well organised, and the educators are caring and supportive. Since Jade became the new owner, the centre has been managed really well and you can see how responsible and dedicated she is. Kayla is also amazing — always friendly, helpful, and professional. Thank you to the whole team for taking such good care of the children!

We absolutely adore this centre. My boy loves it so much, and the team has supported him in every area to help him reach his milestones — we couldn’t be happier. The centre is always very clean and has a beautiful outdoor area. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and I’ve also made some lovely friends through the centre.

Over the Hills has recently come under new ownership. New owner Jade has made such a positive impact with new refurbishment, toys, furniture, staff uniforms and school hats. Kayla the centre manager has also played a big part in the success of the centre over the last 1-2 years. Very happy with our daughter’s care, and will be sending our other daughter soon.

My daughter has been attending Over The Hills Academy (formerly First Steps Learning Academy) for a year now. She started in the Early Learning Centre when she was two and the teachers were absolutely incredible. They helped her transition by being attentive and caring and she formed some really beautiful bonds with some of the teachers. She would ask about them at home and went from crying at drop off to being excited and looking forward to being there. Student numbers were low in the ELC and the school did need a little face lift but i loved how it felt like a family, how clean it was and how much attention my daughter received. Recently the school was taken over by new owners at the same time that my daughter transitioned into the preschool and I’m even happier with things than before. Jade has given the school a face lift, introduced new activities and reinvigorated the academy to make it an even more exciting place to be while maintaining the the family feel we loved in the first place. Both centres are clean, well staffed with some of the sweetest women, they host beautiful events for the families to be involved in and my daughter is flourishing in preschool with the school readiness programs. If you live in the area, you know most daycare/preschools around here are large and have a corporate vibe. Over The Hills is the complete opposite of that and if that’s what you value, then I highly recommend it.

My child attended this daycare from age 2 to 5, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. The teachers are professional, kind, and caring, always providing a nurturing environment. Over these three years, she has learned so much and was always happy to go to school. We are very grateful for the care and support she received. Highly recommend this daycare!

The First Step preschool at Beaumont Hill has been a blessing 🙌. Their preschool program has benefited my child to transition well into primary school. It has given her confidence through sufficient language development and motor skills and she was able to write the alphabets with confidence. Transitioning into a new school setting, she was able to have independence and find her sense of self to explore and learn with awe and excitement. She started at preschool only after a mid way through the year, and at the beginning of her journey, she was scared and confused. She became stressed, not knowing what was expected of her. After 5 months, she got to learn the rules and the preschool culture and make friends. She formed special bonds with her friends and peers and felt like she belonged. She also formed her own space within the larger setting and became very confident to move and speak and be herself at preschool. There may be a small struggle at first, especially if starting later in the year, because at this age, the kids start to understand the rules and culture and relationships, but we were able to get through that stage with the support of the staff members and really come through to a good place. We are very grateful 🙏. Thank you so much.
