As a grandparent whose grandchild attends Green Leaves Clarkson, I have had the opportunity to see the care, commitment and professionalism shown by educators and staff.<br><br>I understand that parents are entitled to raise concerns about their child’s care and to share their personal experiences. However, allegations concerning children, educators and incidents occurring within an early learning service are serious matters and cannot fairly be determined by a google review alone. Where concerns of that nature are raised, they should be dealt with the appropriate management and regulatory processes. I also think it is important for people reading reviews to remember that a review represents one person’s experience and perspective.<br><br>From my experience, the educators and staff at Green Leaves Clarkson are extremely dedicated to the children in their care. I have personally seen the genuine effort they put into providing a safe, caring and nurturing environment and ensuring that each and every child is cared for to the best of their ability.<br><br>The educators are not there to simply do a job. They build relationships with the children, care about their wellbeing and put a great deal of time, patience and effort into supporting them each day. I have nothing but respect for the work they do.<br><br>I have personally found the educators who care for my grandchild to be caring, professional and genuinely committed to providing the best possible care. Families considering the service should make their own enquires, visit the centre, speak with management and educators, and form their own opinion based on their own experience.<br><br>I have complete confidence in the educators and staff caring for my grandchild, and I could not recommend a better early learning centre. I am very comfortable knowing my grandchild is in their care and seeing the dedication they show to providing the best care possible for every child.

I personally would NOT recommend Green Leaves Clarkson to other families, and after my experience I would not send my children back there.<br><br>My children attended for around seven months and during that time I had ongoing concerns about injuries, unexplained marks, supervision, communication and the way concerns were handled. There was also a noticeable amount of staff turnover, with several educators leaving as well as the previous administration staff member.<br><br>I also saw a huge change in my children’s behaviour while they were attending, which became another major concern for me as their parent.<br><br>One of the most upsetting incidents was my daughter coming home with five bruises around her bottom area. I raised this because I wanted to understand what had happened while she was in care. I was told that the cameras at the centre do not record, so they could not go back and view what had happened. For me, that raised even more concerns because there was no way to check what had occurred.<br><br>The educator caring for my daughter was also the mother of the educator my son later identified when he came home telling me that she had “hit him”. He repeated this to me more than once, and I reported exactly what my child had said to management.<br><br>What made me even more uncomfortable was that the educator remained working at the centre while the matter was being looked into. I did not feel comfortable continuing to leave my children there under those circumstances.<br><br>I also had communication involving that educator afterwards which I personally found hostile, inappropriate, disgusting and extremely unprofessional considering the seriousness of what I had raised. That was the point where I had enough.<br><br>I ended both of my children’s enrolments and pulled them out immediately that morning because I no longer felt confident or comfortable leaving them there.<br><br>To be very clear, I am sharing what my son reported to me, what I personally observed with my children, what I was told by the centre and my own experience dealing with these concerns.<br><br>Something else parents should be aware of when reading the reviews is that the educator who cared for my daughter — who is also the mother of the educator my son identified — has left the centre a 5-star review.<br><br>I personally think families reading reviews should know when positive reviews have been written by someone who actually works at the centre, so they can take that into consideration when making their own decision.<br><br>There were individual educators who were lovely with my children, so this review is not aimed at every person who works there. My issue is with my overall experience, the number of concerns I had during the time my children attended and how serious concerns were handled when I raised them.<br><br>I gave this centre chance after chance because I genuinely wanted things to improve In the end, I lost trust and did not feel comfortable leaving my children there anymore.<br><br>Based on my family’s experience, I would not recommend Green Leaves Clarkson.

Beautiful centre & facilities. Professional, kind & warm loving educators. Our little one started when the centre first opened and we are so happy we moved to Green Leaves. She struggles with separation anxiety at drop off, but the ladies here always take the time to greet her and make her feel comfortable & safe while settling in. The chef cooke meals, stunning facility/rooms & little luxuries like providing nappies, sunscreen & hats top it off and put them above the rest. Thank you for your kindness and dedication :)

It’s taken me a while to decide whether or not I would leave a review as it’s been about three months since my daughter left the centre. The two stars are based on 1. The centre itself is beautiful 2. The receptionist, Lisa the centre manager and Emily one of other educational leaders are very caring and sell the place really well. However, this did not ring true for the rest of our experience. In short, in the few weeks our daughter was there she was visibly upset upon every drop off and pick up, was often left in wet clothes without her bib (there was even pictures taken of her and put on Storypark of this instead of her being changed!), bottle lids and bases were mixed with other children’s lids and both are labelled (not great if the other child had a milk allergy!), collected her early one day and her nappy was hanging off her and wasn’t changed in 3.5 hours at least based on their records. Educators upon pick up in the room wouldn’t pick up crying kids they would just talk to the parent (this has not been my experience at other daycares where they have stopped a conversation to help the distressed child). Sometimes on pick up educators would be distracted with their iPad rather than the children, which they did change when we mentioned something. Another pick up was in the garden and two educators were sat by the children and no greeting, whilst my daughter was sat on top of a drainage grate playing with that. These are some of the things that built up over the three weeks, and we pulled her out after the nappy incident. It seems like they are taking on too many babies at once or they are understaffed. My daughter has since started another centre and the difference is night and day. It makes me sad to think what was happening, and how long she would be left to get upset. It also seems strange that one of the room leaders is able to leave a 5 star review of the centre… I really hope things have changed over those last few months and they have sorted out some of those issues.

Greenleaves Clarkson has been exceptional, I’m so glad I chose this centre for my child

My wife and I recently moved to WA from NSW, and while the transition had its challenges, green leaves and its staff were not one of them. The centre director, Lisa Stirling, along with all the educators, were wonderful during our tour of the (brand new!) facilities and made it feel instantly like home. Our three year old immediately took to the place and can’t wait to go to daycare everyday. We are so lucky we found the perfect place, and can’t thank Lisa and the entire centre enough for the warm welcome and continued support they have shown.

Both my grandsons attended this awesome centre and have thrived in their learning and confidence in such a short time… lovely centre.

Amazing childcare centre!!! I was nervous about changing my sons daycare but those worries were soon put to bed after a tour of the amazing brand new facilities and a very reassuring and informative chat with Lisa the centre director and her management team, my son is now thriving and I couldn't be happier!

We are really pleased to have put our son in Greenleaves Clarkson, every day he is thriving and learning new skills, the educators and staff are very friendly and attentive, it is clear that they are all passionate about what they do. I would highly recommend to anyone considering putting there children into daycare.

This is a great centre. Lovely staff, very nice and understanding. Lots of fun things for my little boy to do. Great room set ups and outdoor areas. My boy is so happy there!
