A Montessori Kindergarten Program will be provided for our 3 to 5 years enrolment at MyKidz ELC. Each session will be 7.5 hours per day, 5 days a week. Hours are generally between 9am to 4:30pm. 

Building on the pioneering principles established by Doctor Maria Montessori, MyKidz delivers a modern Montessori education program that is based on the natural development of the child. The goal of the Montessori program is to provide children with the knowledge and skills to thrive in their educational career as lifelong learners.

Our educators encourages a strong focus on critical thinking, independence, language skills, mathematics, culture and practical life skills. The Montessori Curriculum is based on hands-on learning experiences that have been tailored to the Victorian Government’s Early Years Learning Framework.

Developmental Focus (Babies 6 to 24 months)

• Sensory Exploration: Activities should stimulate the senses (touch, sight, sound, taste, smell). Examples include sensory bins with various textures, musical toys, and taste-safe materials.
• Motor Skills: Encourage both fine and gross motor development through tummy time, reaching and grasping objects, crawling, and early standing.
