Dream Big Early Learning Centre has been absolutely amazing for my daughter! She looks forward to going every week and especially loves her piano lessons. The teachers are so caring and supportive, treating each child as an individual and really bringing out their confidence. It’s such a nurturing environment where learning is fun, and I couldn’t be happier seeing how much she enjoys it. Highly recommend Dream Big to any parent looking for a place where their child can learn, grow, and truly shine!

My two girls have been going to this centre (formerly My Kidz Montessori ELC) since they were 1, they are now 3 and 5. Naturally, I was worried about the change in ownership, but am pleased to see the retention of some of the original staff and plenty of positive changes. Firstly, it’s important to highlight that this wonderful group of staff know how to put a nervous parents mind at ease each day at drop off (especially in the early days). They not only know how to calm children but also parents too. Haha 😆 it’s a gift! Their experience and understanding of each child’s individual needs is amazing. The ability to be able to provide feedback to parents daily (both verbally and through the brilliant ap) is testament to the continuity of care. I’ve never known of any other CC to provide such detailed daily updates including cute little phrases/comments (alongside many photos) that each kid made throughout the day. Since the change to Dream Big ELC the centre has provided many benefits. We have seen visible physical upgrades maximising the tiny space and adding colour. The new co-owner Sabina is very hands on and gets involved in the day to day, which I love. She has brought a fresh energy and lots of new ideas and programs to the centre. My girls especially enjoy the dancing, arts and crafts and piano. I’m very excited to hear that soon cooking classes will be offered by the talented chef. The chef is also a trained educator, who provides nourishing meals cooked from fresh ingredients that the kids actually eat. It’s also noteworthy to know that the rates are also quite competitive in the area. Additionally, convenience of location is brilliant particularly for those working in/towards the city and living in the Doncaster/Lower Templestowe region- with convenient access to the Eastern fwy. Overall a great little centre with a great parent community too.

We’re very happy sending our three-year-old daughter to Dream Big. The educators know the children really well, with many of them having been at the centre for years. I really value the consistency of staff, and it has been wonderful to see our daughter have such strong relationships with her educators. They know her personality, her habits, and so are able to give her the best care. My husband and I are both teachers, and we’ve been very happy with the educational content and skills building she’s been exposed to. We receive very detailed daily updates – several paragraphs and dozens of photos every day – and this helps us have conversations with her about her learning at home, using the same language. Last month’s focus was on insects; now she’s learning all about space. The indoor displays are constantly changing to reflect their current area of study, and they have also recently upgraded the outdoor play area with lots of new equipment; my daughter loves the new swing and monkey bars. I’m a big fan of the weekly music and sport sessions; it makes me feel as though my daughter is being exposed to lots of different skills and activities without me feeling the pressure to sign her up to loads of extracurricular programs on the weekend, at least while she’s still young. I’m appreciative of the work Dream Big are doing in building a sense of community around the centre. The recent open day was a great opportunity to connect with other families, and meet the parents and siblings of my daughter’s friends. It’s lovely to build these relationships before we all move onto the local primary schools. For now, my daughter loves to go to ‘school’ every day and I’m confident in sending my youngest there in the next few months.

Our child has loved his year here! The teachers are wonderfully considerate, and the food is a huge hit (he always wants seconds!). The toddler program is outstanding with daily activities like soccer, music, and art. They encourage independence through free play and choice, while also thoughtfully developing skills like letter tracing and treading beads to train their fine motor skills. The rotating themes (planets, pajama days etc.) keep learning fresh and engaging. A fantastic experience all around.
