My daughter attends this service in the babies, the staff in her room are amazing and always so kind and caring. The director Whitney is always available and willing to help with a smile. Have been recommending this service to all my family and friends.

Our boy has been attending for few months now and we have nothing but great things to say about this centre 🙏 Staff are kind and welcoming, centre is clean and everything always seems to be under control. From day one they welcomed out little guy with open hearts and they support him and his additional needs ever since ❣️ As an anxious first time mum I get worried about little things, but ladies at the centre never make me feel like "I'm too much", all my worries are always met with understanding and open communication 👌We are forever thankful x

Centre philosophy

Centre philosophy

Our Philosophy

At Early Learners of Ruse, we believe the best early childhood experiences happen when children feel genuinely known — by their educators, by the families around them, and by the community they're part of.

We're not a big corporate centre. We're a neighbourhood place, and that shapes everything about how we operate.

Quality Learning

We focus on building real foundations — not just school readiness, but the confidence, curiosity, and resilience that sets children up for life. Our play-based approach meets every child where they are and grows with them.

Authentic Spaces
Our environments are designed to feel safe and familiar — because children learn best when they feel settled. Open communication with families isn't a feature, it's just how we operate.

Community Care
Many of our educators have been part of the Ruse community for years. The relationships they build with children and families go beyond the classroom — and that continuity matters.

Celebrating Diversity
Every child who walks through our door is welcomed exactly as they are. We actively celebrate the different backgrounds, cultures, and personalities that make our community what it is.

Programs

Programs

Our Programs

Twinkle Stars — 0 to 2 years
Our nursery is a calm, unhurried space for your youngest child. We work closely with families to understand and honour each baby's individual routine — because consistency and familiarity are what help little ones feel safe. Expect open, regular communication and educators who genuinely take the time to know your child.

Shining Stars — 2 to 3 years
This is where toddlers start to find their feet — socially, physically, and with language. Our Shining Stars program gives children daily opportunities to explore, try new things, and build the self-confidence that comes from figuring out the world at their own pace. Indoor and outdoor learning, every day.

Kindi Stars — 3 to 5 years
Our preschool program runs two streams: a 3–4 year program focused on building social and creative foundations, and a school readiness program for 4–5 year olds that focuses on early literacy, numeracy, and the independence children need to transition to kindergarten with confidence. Small group focus, personalised support, and educators who know your child well enough to stretch them in the right direction.

What the parents say

What the parents say

*"From the moment we walked in for our tour, Ruse felt different. The educators remembered our son's name before he'd even started. Eighteen months later, he runs through the door every morning without looking back. That tells you everything."*

— Amanda K., Ruse

---

*"We were really nervous about starting childcare — our daughter had never been away from us. The team at Ruse took so much time with her in those first few weeks, sending us little updates throughout the day so we knew she was okay. She's thriving now and honestly, so are we."*

— Michael & Priya S., Ruse

---

*"What I love most is that the educators actually know my kids. Not just their names — their personalities, their friendships, what they're working on. It feels less like childcare and more like an extension of our family."*

— Natalie B., Ruse
About the Curriculum

About the Curriculum

How We Build Strong Beginnings

Talented, passionate educators

Our educators don't just care for children — they genuinely invest in them. They notice what makes each child tick, what challenges them, and what lights them up. That kind of attention doesn't happen by accident; it's the standard we hold ourselves to.

Learning through play
Every space at Ruse is designed with intention — to spark curiosity, build motor skills, encourage creativity, and give children the confidence that comes from doing things themselves. Play is how children make sense of the world, and we take it seriously.

Safety at the core
A child can't learn if they don't feel safe. Our environments, our teams, and our practices are all built around creating a space where children are genuinely protected and families can trust us completely.

Always in the loop
We believe parents should never feel out of touch with their child's day. Expect regular, honest communication — not just the highlights, but the real picture of how your child is going.

Care shaped around your family
No two children are the same, and no two families are either. Our programs are adapted to reflect the values, routines, and needs of the community we serve — because cookie-cutter care isn't good enough.
