About Nido Early School Eyre Village

  • Programs include Safe Body, RAA Road Safety, and Elizabeth Aquadome Water Safety to promote confidence and safety awareness.
  • STEM and sustainability activities such as Marty McBubbles science sessions and Clean Up Australia projects encourage curiosity and environmental care.
  • Strong community partnerships with Autism SA, Gowrie Childcare Centre, and Playford Library Bus provide diverse learning opportunities.

At Nido Eyre Village Early School, we provide exceptional early education and care for children from six weeks to six years. Our approach focuses on building trusting relationships and creating a calm, supportive environment where every child feels safe and valued. Guided by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, we design programs that foster confidence, community, and curiosity through hands-on experiences.

Safety is always our priority. We follow national child-safe standards, maintain clear supervision, and provide ongoing training for our educators. Families can trust that every child is cared for in a secure and supportive environment.

Our learning programs include sustainability and STEM activities, social-emotional development sessions, and community partnerships that enrich children’s experiences. These programs encourage creativity, problem-solving, and a strong sense of belonging.

Our environments are thoughtfully designed to spark imagination and exploration. Children enjoy art in our ateliers, shared meals in piazzas, and outdoor adventures in mature gardens, helping them develop new skills and healthy habits for life.

Community is central to Nido Eyre Village. We collaborate with local organisations and host regular incursions to create meaningful connections and extend learning beyond the classroom.

At Nido, every day is an opportunity to nurture confident, capable learners through safe, inspiring environments and meaningful experiences. Guided by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, we turn everyday moments into lasting learning that shapes each child’s future.

Safety

Safety

Safety matters every day.
Every day, safety comes first at Nido. Across all our early schools, we work tirelessly to uphold the highest standards in safety. This commitment underpins every decision we make and every interaction we have with children and families.

We have embedded the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations across all our practices to ensure safe behaviours, environments, and accountability are part of everything we do.

Strong supervision and ongoing training
All Educators participate in an 8-week active supervision program, along with regular training and safety alerts. This ensures teams are vigilant, responsive, and prepared for every situation.

Safe design, technology and electronic devices
Our early school layouts are designed for maximum visibility and supervision. CCTV is installed externally at most of our early schools to enhance security. For the protection of all children, the use of personal devices to take photos or videos of children is prohibited for all Nido team members, students, volunteers, and visitors.

Rigorous recruitment and compliance
Our recruitment process includes enhanced screening, comprehensive reference checks, and clear expectations around child safety. Working with Children Checks are strictly managed and continuously monitored.

Professional learning and guidance
Educators receive regular training through leading Registered Training Organisations. Policies and procedures are regularly reviewed and updated to reflect current legislation and best practice, ensuring everyone understands the behaviours and standards expected.

Comprehensive health and safety
We maintain secure single-point entry systems, and our staff are trained in first aid, asthma, anaphylaxis care, and food safety. We follow strict medication management protocols, a Cancer Council-accredited Sun Smart policy, and promote hygiene through engaging activities. Our schools take allergies seriously, including nut awareness, to help keep every child safe and included at mealtimes. Any incidents are documented and promptly communicated with families.

Parent communication and involvement

Parent communication and involvement

We value strong partnerships with families and actively involve parents in their child’s learning journey. From enrolment, we collaborate with families to understand routines, interests, and goals, tailoring programs to meet individual needs.

Communication is open and transparent, with regular updates, photos, and videos shared through our 'StoryPark' App. Families are encouraged to participate in events and classroom activities, ensuring they feel connected to their child’s learning every day.

From STEM challenges and sustainability projects to social-emotional programs and creative arts, our curriculum turns everyday experiences into opportunities for lifelong learning.

Drop offs are always hard with my kids trying to guilt trip me but the educators are lovely and very attentive, take over beautifully and distract them. They're always happy when I go to pick them up. I always find that the front of desk are very professional and proactive if anything is brought to attention.

Five stars, and honestly I’d give more if that were an option. This childcare has completely won us over. From the moment you walk in, it’s clear this is a place that’s calm, organised, welcoming, and run by people who actually know what they’re doing — not just surviving the day on vibes and caffeine. The environment is warm and engaging, the routines are thoughtful, and the children aren’t just being looked after, they’re genuinely supported, encouraged, and thriving. What really sets this place apart is the people. Angela and Pamela are next-level amazing. They are kind, patient, attentive, and effortlessly competent — the kind of educators who make you feel instantly at ease handing over the most important person in your world. They remember everything, notice the little things, and somehow give each child individual attention while juggling daily chaos like absolute pros. Our child absolutely adores them. Drop-offs are easy, pick-ups are happy, and we constantly get reassurance that our child is not just safe, but genuinely known and cared for. There’s real trust there, which is priceless as a parent. Also worth noting: our child occasionally comes home demonstrating emotional intelligence, independence, and manners that we definitely did not teach. Rude, but impressive. Angela and Pamela bring warmth, humour, and calm confidence to everything they do. Angela, in particular, manages all of this despite having one very human flaw — a completely valid fear of ducks — which somehow makes her even more iconic. Pamela balances everything with steady calm and genuine care, and together they create an environment where kids feel secure, happy, and excited to learn. In short, this childcare is doing things right. Angela and Pamela are a huge reason why. We feel incredibly lucky to have them shaping our child’s early years. Five stars, zero hesitation, and yes — we’ll recommend them… even though it means more competition for spots.

I want to acknowledge three incredible educators - Macee, Bec and Tamara. They are the sole reason this centre is a 5-star experience for us. They have consistently gone above and beyond for my son, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the care they provide. They always treat him with such kindness, patience and genuine attention, and I’ve always felt completely comfortable leaving him in their hands. One thing I value most is their honesty, I can rely on them to communicate openly with me about his day, his progress and anything he might need.
