Hi, I’m Kim. I have worked in the early childhood industry for over 20 years, including long day care settings in various roles. I have also had the opportunity to work as a nanny in both the USA and the UK, which has allowed me to gain valuable experience working with children and families from diverse backgrounds.

I hold an Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Community Services, Senior First Aid, and a Blue Card. I am passionate about supporting children’s learning and development and believe there are always new and exciting ways to help children grow, learn, and thrive.

My childcare environment is warm, welcoming, and designed to support children in feeling safe, secure, and valued. I strive to create a relaxed and happy atmosphere where children are encouraged to explore, learn, and build positive relationships with myself and their peers.

I believe that strong, trusting relationships are the foundation for children’s wellbeing and development. I take the time to listen to children, engage in meaningful conversations, and support them in expressing their ideas, feelings, and opinions. Children are encouraged to initiate conversations, share humour, ask questions, and seek support as they develop confidence and independence.

Through both planned and spontaneous learning experiences, I aim to create an environment that encourages curiosity, independence, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.
