As a family, with young children of our own, we recognise the careful considerations that go into selecting your child’s centre and the importance of ensuring your child feels safe and nurtured in this environment.
We aim to provide the highest level of education and quality care, which is what- as parents- we want for our own children-environments that are nurturing and warm and help shape identity. Our educators provide children with opportunities that encourage them to be flexible thinkers and confident learners, achieving this through providing your child with an environment that supports and inspires inquiry.
Starting in the nursery room where teachers nurture each individual budding personality all the way through to our preschool program where children are being prepared to begin kindergarten. Nothing matters more to us than the health, well-being and education of every child that enters our doors.
So from our family to yours, we welcome you to our centre.
Our Program
Our unique Prepare Early Education Program forms the foundation for our curriculum, and draws upon national best practice, plus the latest university and industry research to provide every child – from infancy, right though to Primary School transition – with an exceptional, age relevant, dynamic play-based learning program.
Prepare is integrated into our Centre activities with the following five key learning outcomes in mind:
- Children have a strong sense of identity
- Children are connected with and contribute to their world
- Children have a strong sense of well being
- Children are confident and involved learners
- Children are effective communicators
Prepare, is delivered with the understanding that early education lays the first important stones in your child’s educational path – meaning that we take an active role in understanding your child’s unique interests and in small groups provide both guided and spontaneous learning experiences, which are monitored and communicated to parents on an ongoing basis.

Programs
Trinity Early Learning Centre delivers educational programs which are age-appropriate, engaging, fun, play-based and research-based. Educators create learning experiences which are based on family input and children’s interests, and cater to a diverse range of cultures and abilities. Educators are trained and experienced to lead programs and classrooms in accordance with the latest information, guidelines, and regulations in early childhood education and care.
Art program: the preschool children take part in Art Therapy classes every week, delivered by a qualified psychotherapist.
Regular incursions and excursions: these are valued and implemented throughout the year, with experiences such as butterfly gardens, reptile shows, Indigenous music performances, NSW Fire and Rescue services, local NSW Police Visits, dental visits, and more. Safe and engaging excursions to local venues include the Gladesville Library and Our Lady Queen of Peace Primary School.
School and life readiness program: this enriching program is led by a university-trained teacher who designs the program according to the feedback from local primary school, developmental learning goals, and family feedback.
Language program: the children engage in a rich Italian language program in the Wattle Room. The program is offered by a native Italian-speaking educator alongside the Early Learning Language Australia initiative which sees children interacting with different languages through online learning and an application.
Reading program: a digital program called Reading Eggs is offered to children who are going to school the following year and who also show interest in furthering their reading abilities. Readings Eggs is an extensive literacy application which is accessed through mobile devices and tracks children’s skills in reading.
Literacy program: Prelit has been an integral part of the school and life readiness program, it is a scientific research-based literacy program designed by Macquarie University and variations are found in schools across Australia. Prelit is provided throughout the week in the preschool room for children attending who are going to school the following year. It aims to nurture a sound foundation for children learning to read.
Writing program: Letterland is implemented across the service and in all age groups in appropriate learning experiences. Children are introduced to letters with their associative sounds and formations through songs, stories and playful characters. Children are always welcomed and encouraged to join in at their own pace.
What the parents say
What the parents say
There is never a day when we don't look around and see the children enjoying dynamic educational activities that help them grow and develop. So fun, coloured and vibrant! We have been at Trinity for the last 8 years and we have thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

Thank you Educators for making Hunter so happy every day he spends at daycare. We really see you as part of our extended family and I know that he does too. His creative pieces of art, playtime with friends in the garden and his love of reading is what really makes us smile. We feel he is thriving under your care so thank you to all Trinity Educators.

About the curriculum
About the curriculum
6 weeks - 2 years
From learning to crawl and then taking their very first steps, to transitioning from milk to solids, the children and families in the Gumnut Room are supported every step of the way.
2 years - 3.5 years
Children are nurtured to develop their language and their ever-growing abilities. Educators provide a range of resources and learning experiences to foster children’s social and emotional skills as they learn to navigate their world.
3 years – 6 years
Children are offered opportunities to extend their skills and knowledge in all key learning areas. Empowering confident identities and developing self-help skills is a large component of the learning within each classroom and educators aim to foster this through a range of experiences which are embedded in the routine and in the educational programs.
Meet the team
Meet the team
Our philosophy in early childhood education and care has strong foundations in knowing that children learn and grow best when they are happy, surrounded by people who put them first, and understand that solid family partnerships and community engagement is crucial.
Ms. Maggie, Centre Director, Trinity Early Learning Centre Gladesville
The educators at Trinity believe in the power of connection, with the children, with the families and with the community. We endeavor to support the children and families in their learning journey towards independence, empowerment and growth. The centre acknowledges that children learn best when educators, families, and community work together to support long lasting learning.
Ms. Michela, Educator
Health & nutrition
Health & nutrition
At Trinity Early Learning Centre Gladesville, the centre chef prepares nutritious meals throughout the day from a menu designed with a nutritionist and the Australian Healthy Eating Guidelines. Children are offered a vegetarian option alongside the usual meals provided, and the centre is proud to make great efforts to be palm-oil free.
The centre acknowledges that businesses have a shared responsibility in implementing sustainable practices, with the way they consume food products being a driving force in the choices made when sourcing ingredients for the centre kitchen.
The menu rotates weekly and is prepared with seasonal fruits and vegetables, and lean meats, which are all locally sourced from butchers and providores. Breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and late snack are offered within a day, with all meals being offered progressively except for lunch, where children are served a warm meal and togetherness is valued.
The service participates in Munch and Move sessions every day and have designed their educational programs, routines, and mealtimes to embed Munch and Move resources, information, and training. Munch and Move is an initiative by the NSW Health Department which aims to support a healthy physical wellbeing in each child.
The educators respect the diverse cultures in the community and have designed their menu to incorporate a range of flavours and ingredients which originate from the countries of the educators and families. They believe that educating children’s palates is also part of the learning journey.
The children enjoy meals such as lamb kofta with cous cous and mint yoghurt with salad; cream of cauliflower soup with bread roll; and spaghetti bolognese with vegetables and garlic bread. For their snacks they are offered homemade baked options such as oat and cheese loaf or wholemeal sultana scones; beetroot pancakes with cream; sandwiches; crackers and spread; veggie sticks and cheese.
