Our daughter spent 17 wonderful months at Nido Blackforest, starting when she was just 8 months old. During this time, she was surrounded by the most caring and supportive educators we could have ever wished for. In nursery, she was embraced with such love and care by Bonnie, Taryn, and Vanessa, who remained her comfort and familiar faces throughout her time at Nido. The transition into toddler 1 was just as smooth, thanks to the nurturing support of Sammy, Jade, and Amelia. Though she didn’t spend much time in toddler 2, we had complete confidence that she would have felt the same warmth and care from Rita, Daisy, and Lily. Our daughter truly loved coming to Nido—she was always happy, thriving, and excited to be there. We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Nido Early School Black Forest. From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt a genuine sense of warmth, care, and professionalism. The educators are not only highly skilled but also incredibly nurturing and attentive to each child’s individual needs. It’s clear they are passionate about early childhood development and go above and beyond to create a safe, stimulating, and loving environment. The learning spaces are beautifully designed—clean, modern, and filled with natural light. Every morning drop-off is a joy, and I often find it hard to leave because it’s so wonderful chatting with the educators, being around the happy children and simply being in such a welcoming, positive space. It truly feels like a second home. One of the things we love most is the strong sense of community. We feel genuinely connected and supported—not just as parents, but as part of something bigger. Our daughter comes home every day with beautifully styled hair and happy and excited (not to mention tired from all the playing). We feel so reassured knowing they are thriving in such a nurturing environment. We feel incredibly lucky to be part of the Nido Black Forest family. If I had to sum it up in one sentence: you can absolutely trust Nido Black Forest with your children. We discovered Nido in March this year. My husband and I visited the center with our kids and had the chance to meet Vanessa, a teacher who, just like me, is from China, from the same hometown, and also a mother of two. In her, I saw what it truly means to be an educator who loves her work from the bottom of her heart. She is caring, patient, attentive, and gentle—so many beautiful qualities. As our children began attending, I gradually came to see that every teacher at Nido has their own unique and captivating charm. Rita is patient and considerate; Lillian is eager to learn and curious; Eliza is meticulous and dedicated; Daisy is straightforward and sincere; Sammi is hardworking and responsible; Amelia is loving and thoughtful; and Jade is gentle and kind. Each of these wonderful traits gives me complete peace of mind entrusting my children to them, and I believe these qualities will positively influence my kids as well. This is a wonderful childcare centre. My daughter hates drop off, it’s just her personality (has exhibited this at a previous centre), however... This is a wonderful childcare centre. My daughter hates drop off, it’s just her personality (has exhibited this at a previous centre), however the educators here do everything necessary to make her comfortable whether it be space and quiet time, or a cuddle. It’s very calm and quiet in the mornings. It’s difficult to explain a “vibe”, but it is a lovely one. I have my 2 toddlers here and couldn’t be happier with the support & education they both get at different levels. My youngest started 9mths ago and is thriving, always bringing new skills home. My eldest started in June 2023, has Development Delays and has made huge progress under their guidance! She has been supported across the school by ALL staff the whole time meeting her where she is at. I’m so grateful for the staff interactions with our family & therapy team when needed to help reach her developmental goals. Both my girls love going to “school” here & have formed great relationships with their educators. We feel confident leaving him there knowing he is in a safe and healthy environment with delicious food and an excellent range of activities!
