Whiz Kidz Wollert is a friendly, positive early education centre catering to children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. The personable educators teach a play-based curriculum that allows the children to learn and develop their cognitive, physical and social skills at their own pace.
The large modern indoor spaces are designed to support the different age groups and are filled with exciting and engaging activities. The well-equipped rooms have educational toys and resources to encourage the children to tap into their creative minds and build confidence in their learning. Family areas with a child-friendly wooden fridge, oven and other kitchen equipment build on the children’s social skills and develop their imagination.
The inviting outdoor space has wooden structures, climbing frames, and cubby houses for the children to enjoy. As a Centre Director, my philosophy is centred around providing a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for children to learn and grow.
I believe that play is a vital component of a child’s development. I promote a play-based learning approach that allows children to engage in hands-on, experimental activities that foster their cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development., through play, children can develop problem-solving skills, creativity, and a love for learning,
I believe in putting the needs and interests of each child at the forefront of our program. This means recognising and respecting their individuality, strengths, and unique learning styles. I strive to create an environment where children feel valued, heard, and empowered to explore and express themselves.
I believe in building strong partnerships with families. I value open and ongoing communication with parents, involving them in their child’s learning journey, and respecting their cultural backgrounds and beliefs. Collaboration between families and the centre is essential in creating a supportive and inclusive environment for children.

The Whiz Kids program is holistic and encompasses key areas of the children’s learning and development. The programs are:
Whiz Kids Sustainability: through hands-on lessons about recycling and hygiene, the children learn about sustainability practices and caring for the environment.
The Whiz Kids educators value open and honest communication with parents. They know that parents are the most important people in a child’s life and their engagement in their daily activities is critical. To support this, the educators are available to discuss the children’s learning with parents on a regular basis.
The educators use the conversations with parents to support the children’s learning. They start to build connections between home and the centre to enhance the children’s wellbeing and desire to learn.
Parents are also encouraged to get involved in the centre through activities such as cooking. They can participate in cooking experiences alongside the children and even share their family recipes.
Throughout each day, the educators update Kinderloop, the parent communication app, with information such as the children’s nutritional intake. Parents can access this information to feel more connected to their child’s day at Whiz Kids.
Everything is made fresh, on-site daily using a wide variety of foods.
Our daily menu offers the following;
Children are offered milk at morning tea and afternoon tea.
Each service has a qualified chef who uses a seasonal menu to deliver delicious meals for the children.
All of our meals are provided daily, and are nutritionally balanced in line with recommended healthy eating guidelines.
We are an allergy aware service. All of our services are nut free.
We do our best to cater to children’s needs including allergies, anaphylaxis and other dietary requirements.

Thank you Cheryl and to all the lovely educators at Whiz Kids wollert for making my son's first year at childcare the absolute best! i felt confident and safe leaving my child in their care. This was my first time enrolling one of my children in a childcare and lovely Cheryl and the most supportive educators (Janelle, Cassie, Manjeet, Anita and Jess) have made it so much easier for both of us. **Highly recommend** We’ve had a wonderful experience at Whiz Kids and would highly recommend checking it out. My daughter started earlier this year and absolutely loves attending.
