I have two children at Grow Heathmont and we’ve had a wonderful experience. It’s a great kinder program my daughter has come so far in the short time she’s been there. My son has been struggling, but the management and educators have gone above and beyond to support him. I really appreciate the care and dedication they show to both my kids. Read more

From day one, they’ve been so welcoming, caring, and supportive, not just for my little one, but for our whole family. My son absolutely loves going each day, which says everything! He’s always excited to see all the girls and comes home happy, learning new things all the time. I’m so grateful for everything they do — it’s such a relief knowing my child is in such great hands. I honestly couldn’t recommend Grow more 💕🌿 Read more

I've sent my 2 kids here for 2 years now, grow staff and educators have gone above and beyond our expectations. The feedback we get each day we send our kids is a great insight into what our kids have learnt and even eaten in the day. They have been extremely supportive in helping us toilet train both our kids comfortably and always having a smile on their face at the end of each day. Previous child care had very little supervision and was nothing like grow at all. 100% reccomend grow heathmont to the local community. We even moved house away from heathmont to 3 suburbs away and we have continued to keep them at grow purely for the happiness they bring out in our kids. Read more

While I originally posted a five-star review for this centre, I unfortunately feel the need to update my feedback to reflect ongoing concerns. My children have been attending since the beginning of the year. Within the first two weeks, they began coming home with unexplained marks, including a serious bite on one child’s arm. On multiple occasions, blocks were thrown at their faces, and yet I was not contacted by staff about the majority of these incidents — I only learned about them from my children. Despite regularly emailing the centre, most of my concerns went unanswered until I made it clear that I would escalate the matter. Another ongoing concern is that upon almost every pickup, I hear about the same particular children causing trouble, hurting others, and making kids cry. This is raised on a near-daily basis, which suggests these behaviours are not being managed effectively by educators. I strongly value play-based learning, but I feel that what is happening at this centre goes beyond that. At times, it has appeared more like a “free-for-all,” with some educators seeming disengaged and inattentive to the children’s safety and wellbeing. I have even expressed in the past that certain staff appeared more interested in collecting a paycheck than ensuring the children’s welfare. While healthy meals are promoted, I am also unsure whether the standards consistently meet expectations. To acknowledge the positives, Several educators, including Gowthami, Shani, Blair, Jaz, and Krystal, have shown genuine care and dedication. Unfortunately, many of the staff who appeared to prioritise the children’s safety have since left the centre, and incidents continue to occur despite reassurances that improvements are being made. What saddens me most is that these issues are not isolated to my family. I recently came across another review from a parent of a child my kids enjoyed playing with, which described very similar concerns. After reviewing the centre’s NQS report, I was disappointed to see that many of the listed improvement opportunities were issues I had already raised multiple times. At this point, I feel caught between a rock and a hard place. My children truly enjoy their friendships at the centre, but I continue to question whether their safety is being adequately prioritised. I sincerely hope that meaningful and urgent improvements are made to staff engagement, attitudes, and practices around children’s health and safety. Update: unfortunately I have to lower my review further due to the abhorrent behaviour of staff at this centre. It is VERY clear that there is an extreme lack of integrity and inexperience in running a business that promotes “working with families”. While they will no doubt deflect the issues, I have chosen to unenrol my children immediately after confirmation that other parents are also unhappy with the service. We gave this centre 9 months of proving that they were up to a standard of simply caring for my kids in which was proven time and time again that they were not. I would steer far away if you’re looking at this centre. I also raised that there was a very clear hygiene/infection control issue in the centre where every single day there was crumbs and foul smells lingering around on the floor, upon using their upstairs adult toilet 2 days in a row there was no soap in the soap dispenser, and you could very much see that it had been that way for an extended period of time due to how condensed the dispenser was, which begs the question of how were the staff washing their hands after using the toilet and before entering the classrooms again? Our daughter attended Grow Early Education Heathmont (Sep 2024 – Sep 2025). Within just two months I had to sign four incident reports, including: • 21 July 2025 – hit on the head by a wooden toy • 16 Sept 2025 – bitten (bite marks) • 17 Sept 2025 – scratched on the face After the last incidents, we immediately moved her to another centre. While the building and facilities are good, supervision in the Junior Kinder room was poor compared with the Toddler room. Sadly, my daughter was scared to attend. Read more
Dear Morteza, thank you for your feedback. At Grow Early Education Heathmont, the safety and wellbeing of every child is our highest priority. Like all early learning settings, children are still developing their social and emotional skills, and from time to time this can lead to incidents such as biting, scratching, or accidents with toys. Whenever this occurs, our Educators respond immediately, provide appropriate care, and document the incident for families. Following the incidents you have mentioned, strategies were put in place to support the children involved, and adjustments were made within the learning environment to strengthen supervision and minimise the likelihood of reoccurrence. We are already seeing positive improvements as a result of these measures. We understand that these situations can be upsetting for families, and we are always open to discussing any concerns directly so that we can work together in the best interests of each child. If you would like to talk further, please feel free to contact our Operations Team on 1300 934 769.

I couldn’t recommend Grow Early Education Heathmont enough to families. Both of my children have attended since the centre first opened, and we’ve had nothing but a wonderful experience. The Centre Director Jamey and all the staff are among the most caring, professional, and supportive people I’ve ever come across. Nothing is ever too much trouble — they genuinely go above and beyond to support children and their families. What really stands out is how willing they are to work closely with parents and, when needed, external professionals, to ensure every child is supported in their individual development. Their commitment to nurturing young learners is truly exceptional. Grow Heathmont has been such a fantastic addition to the local community — we feel very lucky to have found it and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to any family looking for high-quality early childhood education and care. After having a couple of terrible experiences elsewhere, it put me off having my children in care. When I found grow in Heathmont the educators all took time to know and understand both of my children. They accept every child and their individual needs and care for them accordingly. I have found they cater for each individual child as best they can, and it shows. I travel 15 minutes each way to come here, I just wish I found them sooner! So so highly recommend! Read more
