Our experience with Stepping Stones began when our little girl was 3. She was always unsettled when dropped off at another daycare, so we made the move to Stepping Stones — and immediately everything changed. She enjoyed drop-off from the very first day and often had a hard time at pick-up simply because she didn’t want to leave. The educators were wonderful and went above and beyond in their care. My daughter was especially attached to one of the educators, Anu. The classes were well organised with planned activities every single day — cooking, threading, making their own recipe book, and more. This is not your traditional childcare centre, but rather a preschool with the benefits and hours of childcare. The end-of-year concert quickly became something our family looked forward to. Our daughter came out of her shell and performed in front of everyone, initially with the gentle support of the staff. She has now graduated from the centre, but we would still thoroughly recommend this place. It may not have the most luxurious facilities, but the heart and care that everyone here provides to the children are second to none.

We really appreciate Stepping Stones' approach as a bridge between traditional daycare and school in how they support the children to build their independence. The half day option is great for us and we love all of the interesting and child led activities. The centre itself is well equipped with beautiful and safe outdoor play equipment as well as interesting child led activities. Most importantly, we adore the staff at the centre who are so warm, caring and fun. It makes a big difference to us that they want to work with us as parents to get the best child outcomes. We feel so grateful to have found a place which we have faith and confidence in and we are truly blessed to have such wonderful support available to our family!

A beautiful, welcoming and nuturing pre-kindy. My daughter has settled in so easily and is learning so much each day she attends. The educators are kind, caring, fun and very knowledgable. Highly reccommend this centre for anyone looking for a smaller, but high quality care option. 10/10 😊

Both our boys have been to Stepping Stones and we love the teachers and caring environment. It is small and feels very homely. It is a great pre-kindy warm up to get 3 year olds ready for the routine of going to real kindy when they are 4.

Our daughter has absolutely loved Stepping Stones. She also attends daycare and SS is by far her favourite. The effort the staff go to to provide educational and fun activities, as well as foster a sense of community is outstanding, as are the facilities. Could not recommend enough.

Our son has thrived at Stepping Stones over the past year and has learnt many valuable lessons which will prepare him for kindy and beyond. The staff are hugely dedicated and are always looking for new learning opportunities - many led by the children. The kids have a great space to play in outside and inside and are encouraged to interact with the natural environment. They are allowed to play in the rain (hoorah). I can't recommend it highly enough. A special mention to his teacher Amy who is incredible.
