Both of my kids are now enrolled at The Brook and I cannot recommend it enough. My daughter has thrived here and will... Both of my kids are now enrolled at The Brook and I cannot recommend it enough. My daughter has thrived here and will be joining their incredible kindy program next year. My son started this year and he was nurtured through the tears and now he’s so happy and confident at drop off. The teachers tailor their program around the kid’s interests and they even had a whole ‘car theme’ for my son who is obsessed with anything with wheels. Their support of the local community is also a nod to the incredible management team. They promote local businesses, have community events at the centre and even try to help out with parent’s mental health, planning social evenings. The people certainly make this daycare fabulous! One month in and we couldn’t be happier, in fact we wish we’d moved sooner. Some things that stand out for us are the... One month in and we couldn’t be happier, in fact we wish we’d moved sooner. Some things that stand out for us are the staffing ratios and also how engaged the teachers and staff are with the kids. Also, the focus on regularly mixing it up for the kids with both new activities and materials as well as external experiences like the dinosaurs coming, the puppet day etc.. Our last centre did these things but very few and far between. Finally, the cleanliness and weirdly, how clean they keep the kids! This has really helped our washing pile! Read more

I started at The Brook almost 3 years ago as a float educator not really knowing where it would lead. This place has... I started at The Brook almost 3 years ago as a float educator not really knowing where it would lead. This place has supported me through every step of my journey, from helping me gain confidence in the rooms, growing my passion for childcare, guiding me as I became a lead educator, backing me through my studies and supporting me with my ambitions of growth and into my role now as Enrolments manager. During my traineeship, I was given paid study time (which honestly took off so much pressure), above award wages, and always felt appreciated and encouraged. It’s not just a job here the team feels like a family, and the sense of community with the families is something really special. They go above and beyond for staff, from professional development to celebrating milestones and putting on staff events that actually feel fun and meaningful. I have made forever friends and a community family. Our strong occupancy is a true reflection of the warm, vibrant community we've built at The Brook. Families feel connected, valued, and supported and that sense of belonging shows in the trust they place in us every day. From the moment we walked in, we were met with such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The educators are genuinely caring and attentive — it’s clear they love what they do, and our kids absolutely adore them. The centre itself is always clean, well-presented, and filled with great facilities that make learning and play enjoyable for the children. The meals provided are healthy and thoughtfully prepared — even our fussy eater often goes back for seconds, which speaks volumes! Communication from the team is exceptional. They keep us informed about every aspect of our child’s day, needs, and any concerns, which gives us so much peace of mind. Sky, the centre director, is one of the kindest, most genuine people we’ve met. She greets every family by name and creates such a welcoming environment from the front door in. The management have been incredibly supportive and accommodating with my studies, which has made such a difference as I learn and grow in this field.
