Our two children, now almost 5 and 3 years old, have been under her care since they were around 6 months old, and we couldn't be more grateful. Thelma is not only caring and exceptionally friendly but also showcases great creativity in organising activities and crafts for the kids. She educates and effectively implements discipline when necessary, surpassing our expectations for a family daycare. My child started with Thelma part time with two other days in a childcare environment. After only a couple of weeks with Thelma, I knew that my son would be better off full time in this family day care and it was the best decision we ever made. Here he received the highest level of personal care and truly blossomed in this environment. I knew Thelma had the activities, the learning and education part covered with music, art, craft, etc but by the end of our time with her my son started kindergarten being able to write all of his letters and numbers, and was at a year 1 reading level. This was all because of her and the time and commitment she put towards getting him school ready. In addition, she treated my son and nurtured him the way she would her own. From the moment I dropped my son off I knew that he would be taken care of and in good hand’s. Thelma is extremely professional, but also very warm and continues to ask about my son’s progress. This kind of dedication is impossible to find. I highly recommend Thelma to anyone looking for care for their children. Read more

I had my child attending Thelma family day care service from just few months old and until 4 years old. We relocated and regretfully leaving Thelma’s amazing care! From the first time I met Thelma I felt she is the best person to look after my baby and her place is perfect for the baby to grow up and see the world. Thelma’s friendly and caring nature, beautiful flowers she grows, beautiful jacaranda tree at the back, these are going to stay with us forever. Thelma truly became such a big part of our life, her home became home away from home for my child. She supported them to develop and learn through focusing on their current interests. She takes a keen interest in getting to know each child individually, so that she can bring out the best in them. Thelma gave our children a wonderful, relaxed pre-school experience where they learned to play and share with other kids, yet also received the highest level of personal care and attention, delivered with great dedication, which even a close and trusted family member could never match. Thelma prepared the kids very well for school with fun learning activities every day like stories, music, art, craft, reading, writing and games. A bigger child care care establishment could not offer such tailored care. Thelma is extremely kind and patient and runs a very professional, structured and clean service. We would recommend Thelma's family day care to any parent looking for the highest quality of care for their kids.
