At Studio 64 Early Learning and Kindergarten we pride ourselves on fostering a safe community environment for children to feel safe, secure, and nurtured. We respect the thoughtful decisions that go into carefully selecting the right service for the ‘whole’ family and therefore aim to create a strong close-knit community feel across both services from the first point of contact.

Our services offer care from 6 weeks through to school age with age-appropriate educational programs delivered across the whole service. We view the early years as key to developing a positive attitude towards further education throughout each child’s life and strive to deliver rich and meaningful experiences each and every day.

We draw upon past, present and emerging early childhood pedagogical research and theorists allowing for relationships to be established and maintained from the day each child commences through till the end of their journey with us. We offer open-ended, interest-based curriculums and learning environments that foster an inclusive learning approach across all age groups.

We view each child as a capable learner and strive towards empowering each child to become active participants and facilitators of their own learning.

Studio 64 Early Learning and Kindergarten curriculum focuses on delivering play-based learning, whereby we optimise teachable moments as ways to extend upon children’s current dispositions in a creative and meaningful manner. Our services are set out with learning areas that optimise each child’s learning success.

The children are cared for in 4 different rooms:

Babies (6wks-15m)

Juniors (15m-2yrs)

Toddlers (2-3yrs)

Kinders (3-5yrs)

Studio 64 offers nutritious meals that introduce children to a wide variety of foods, with the elimination of added salt and processed sugar. Our services follow a seasonal rotation of menus all of which are cooked and served in-house by an experienced cook.

We focus on a social approach towards mealtimes whereby we view morning tea, lunchtime, and afternoon tea as educational opportunities to expand each child’s developing knowledge of all food groups. We achieve to inspire a healthy relationship through mealtimes and planned cooking experiences, in turn further supporting children to make healthy choices to support their health and well-being.

We encourage contribution towards all that is offered using feedback forms and the sharing of family recipes. Our services are allergy aware and cater to all dietary/cultural requirements with a ‘nut-free’ policy in place.

To further support children’s health and development both services offer an extended undercover outdoor space. The spaces have been purpose-built to provide each age group with the opportunity to explore gross motor skill development without the restriction of weather conditions. We always focus on a healthy balance between our open outdoor spaces and undercover area throughout the year. Furthermore, we maximise the surrounding community as opportunity to build a relationship with nature and continuously strive to educate children on how to care and respect for the surrounding environment.

We have Incursions regularly such as WA Animals Birds of Prey, Dentist visits, etc.
