After searching and scouting out family daycares and not for profit daycares as well as some for-profit ones in the area. We chose Westmead Uniting for its authentic approach, outdoor areas and ease of conversations with Katrina. It’s very obvious when you walk through the doors that the centre is designed with the kids in mind. Massive sand pits, low climbing gear and water play. Good quality toys and engaging layouts like the bamboo tunnel, water pumps at toddler height. Etc. Our son, who is 2 years old, has only been going to daycare for 5 months, and transitioned from nursery to toddler room recently. He is now actually excited to go. He comes home with his cup full and is endearing about his carers. The staff and management have been so accommodating with our needs, our priorities and they also communicate anything we can do to help ease transitions, encouraging sleep when there. When we walk through the doors, both my partner and i, both get a feeling of genuine security and care for our son and the kids. I have never seen it under staffed, not even close. It’s obvious the staff feel valued and talk to one another as a healthy team. I’ve never felt like I was watching a performance or someone was trying to impress me or over compensate. They take joy in the kids. We are only 5 months in, but we love it. Particular thanks to all the staff there. You do such an amazing job.

Uniting Early Learning at Westmead is a fantastic daycare that has provided our child with a safe and happy environment in the Nursery and Toddler rooms for the past 2.5 years. Thank you to Katrina, Isabel, Pinal, Navpreet, Alana, Leilani, Lisa, Neha, Itishree, Shilpa, Bhawna, Ami, Mahmuda and the rest of the team of educators for being incredibly organised and nurturing and we're so grateful for your care. Based on our experience, I would highly recommend this daycare to anyone wondering whether to send their child here!

Our daughter has been attending the centre for almost a year now and I have nothing to say but good things. The staff are so caring and attentive to every child. They always give us updates about our little one and communicate any concerns they have. The kids are always busy, doing something creative and stimulating activities whilst sticking to a routine. Moreover, we can also monitor our child's routine and activities through Story Park which our relatives overseas can also access. Overall, we can see improvement on our daughter's social skills, confidence and language. A wonderful place for children to learn and grow! Uniting Early Learning Westmead has been an amazing experience for our family. The educators are warm, caring, and truly dedicated to the wellbeing and development of each child. Our kids loved going there every day — they were always excited to learn, play, and interact with their friends.

My son has been attending Uniting Early Learning Westmead since 2023 and its a shame we had to leave the centre due to relocating. Amazing staff who tries their best to identify each child's unique needs and work accordingly. Shifts don't impact at all as they work synchronised and each educator was aware of my son's specific needs. As a family we felt welcomed and Katrina (director) made immense efforts to ensure children are happy and safe at the centre. Educators throughout my son's time in the centre were great. Big thanks to educators Hansu, Priyanka, Jipsa, Hema, Azara, Amy, Hema Bala, Iti, Lilly and all others who supported my son's learning journey. My son did really form attachment with previous educators Kait, Anne and Sandi whom he adored. Wishing the centre and all the staff the very best. We are so sad to be leaving Uniting Early Learning Westmead. Katrina, you manage and facilitate a truly remarkable centre. Your attention to detail is impeccable, the staff are nothing short of amazing. It is clear that your staff feel valued and appreciated in their work. They are caring, encouraging and have cared for our boys in such a fantastic way. We honestly will never forget each and everyone one of you.

My son was attending Uniting Early Learning Westmead and we cannot thank the staff at the centre enough. All the educators and nothing short of amazing. The centre is organised, professional & very clean. Highly recommended and one of the only very few non-profit centers in the area. The children really come first here.

There's no doubt in my mind that Uniting Early Learning Westmead is one of the best day cares in Sydney, let alone the Parramatta region. We started our son at the age of 11 months and he needed only a couple of days to develop strong bonds with his educators so much so that we were able to drop him off without any tears! At the age of 2, we temporarily moved him to a daycare closer to our home, however it wasn't nearly the same. He was always uneasy about going to daycare and there would be a new educator in the room at almost every morning drop off which added to his anxiety, making this a difficult experience. In our short time there, we found there wasn't the same standard of consistency, attentiveness, flexibility to cater and to be honest, care factor from the staff. After 12 months, for the ultimate benefit of our son and at the time 10 month old daughter, we decided to move them back to Uniting Westmead and we haven't looked back since! The attention to detail by Katrina and the educators within each room is amazing. The rooms, activities, meals, initiatives and communication is extremely considered with the benefit and growth of the children at the forefront of everything. We can't thank the team enough for being part of our children's formative years and we couldn't recommend this daycare enough; so much so that our niece and nephew are now also attending!
