Our son has been to this centre since he was in the Poppy (Babies) room. He has thrived so much through the years, and we have loved seeing the opportunities they provide for him. Great outdoor space and much larger than you think. This is so convenient in location, with Woolworths being so close. Thank you so much to the team for everything they have done - our son wouldn’t be who he is without them!

There is no option for 0stars but my autistic nephew attended this daycare and was abused by a staff member. Bad enough for police involvement. The incident was not reported to his mum until a week or so after and she was told directly not to report to the police even though they themselves had not reported the educator just fired her...again before informing the mother of the incident. A week after the first incident was reported the her she told about and there more serious incident, both reported by another staff member but nothing immediately done clearly.On top of this his mum was told there was an educator specifically trained to work with special needs children....this was an outright lie. Absolutely disgraceful management. The main danger is gone but the management who all but attempted to bully and silence my sister and allow a child abuser to walk free and work in another centre is still there ( the educator admitted to assaulting my nephew on at least 2 occassions and her excuse.... He wasn't listening as a child with asd and it was just too much ). Do not send your children here, especially if they are non verbal because you will have no idea if they are safe.

Educators are trustworthy, outdoor playground is good, parking is never a problem, you can do grocery when dropping/picking up the kids. It's been great for my two little ones.

Buttercups Highgate was an unforgettable experience during my Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care work placement. Before starting my placement, I was very nervous about whether I could be a good educator, as I had just finished my first term of the course. Luckily, I met a wonderful manager, Emily, who gave me a detailed tour of the centre and spent an hour with me on induction day explaining everything clearly and introducing me to all the staff. I was placed in the Kindy room (3–5 years), where I met adorable children who always welcomed me warmly and enjoyed the activities I planned. When they liked my craft setups, they would often ask to take their creations home—which I was always happy to say yes to! At the beginning of my placement, it was winter, and I had to take some sick days. I was worried about missing time, but the centre was very understanding. The manager helped me arrange make-up days, and she was supportive and positive about my efforts, which made me feel a strong sense of belonging. I still need to complete my next placement in the babies' room (under 2 years), and I would be more than happy to return to Buttercups Highgate. With love, SooJeong

Buttercups Highgate is the best Childcare you can ever enrol to. They have taken such good of my daughter. I was always at ease when she attended Buttercups. She literally grew up there. Buttercups Highgate is so attentive to your child and their needs. Communication has always been at its best always. Educators are so lovely(understatement to be honest). Thanks for everything.

Stacey’s team of educators are amazing! Centre Manager Emily is so attentive to each individual child and family. Nothing is an issue, the team have always been open to cater to our family and childrens' needs that fall outside of society's prescription for children. The centre may look smaller, but well fit out and many facilities for children, plus a solid curriculum and daily reporting system. Both of my kids attended buttercups and they both are growing really well. I'm so grateful, and highly recommend! Thank you Stacey, Lauren and all involved

Our experience from the start with Buttercups has been fantastic. Both our kids love going there. It’s a absolute credit to all involved. Buttercups gives us a stress free experience leaving our kids there while we are out dealing with the day to day stress of work. The ability to cater to all kids needs is a massive plus. We’ll stay many more years for our kids well being and development.

We have only been sending our 3 year old here for about 4 months and have been pleased with the friendly educators, cook, centre manager and the set up of the kids play rooms. Our son’s diet was taken care of along with alot of the other kids with allergies too. And the Christmas party/ graduation was the cherry on the top😀 Such a great evening to be able to meet all educators and parents. Thank you all and keep it up😀
