Programs

Mini Masterminds sees innovation as a driver for development in our Minis. The inclusive extra-curricular activities encourage diversity and inclusion, ensuring every Mini feels accepted as they play and learn.

Our Minis have access to the latest equipment to encourage creative free play and holistic development. All activities are included as part of the daily fee, including:

Sports Program: For our Minis aged 3 and up, the centre offers the ‘Mini Champions’ sports program. This encourages our Minis to gain fitness regardless of their athletic ability, and helps build self-esteem and confidence.

Language Program: Our Minis are taught languages from native speakers at the centre, further developing and strengthening their cognitive function, problem-solving skills and cultural awareness.

Cooking Program: Our Minis can take part in the ‘Mini Chefs’ cooking class, a fun hands-on class that encourages our Minis to experiment in the kitchen while learning about basic cooking techniques and smart food choices. These classes teach kitchen safety, food preparation and proper food handling practices.

Yoga Program: Each week our Minis aged 2 and up take part in ‘Mini Yoga Club’ at the centre. This practice is associated with learning, memory and regulating emotions, and it helps children learn positivity and self-acceptance.

Regular Excursions: The children can extend their learning outside of the centre by taking part in excursions. Some examples include the Easter Show and visiting local parks for a picnic day.

In-House Incursions: Special visitors to the centre can share a wealth of knowledge with our Minis, as they can learn, discover and explore new and exciting things. Some incursions include native wildlife and reptile visits, petting zoos, dentists visits and cultural exploration with visits from Indigenous artists.

Parent communication and involvement

Parent communication and involvement

As a family-owned and operated centre, Mini Masterminds builds strong connections with centre families and the wider community.

By taking a collaborative approach with parents and the community, the centre encourages diversity and inclusion. This ensures that every child feels accepted and part of the Mini Masterminds ‘family’.

Parent feedback helps inform programs, which aim to build confident, independent and active learners. The centre invites families to drop in and speak to educators. Families also participate in special events and cultural celebrations throughout the year.

About the curriculum

About the curriculum

In addition to the national curriculum, Mini Masterminds is proud to have developed a bespoke curriculum in consultation with well-regarded Early Childhood Teacher, Jacob Camilleri.

Central to this is a unique Prep School Program which exposes children to the NSW Foundation Font. It also focuses not just on the Early Years Framework but also the Early Stage 1 curriculum. By merging the Pre-school and Kindergarten lessons, our Minis will have a head start when it comes to their formal schooling.

The focus of the curriculum is on play-based learning, which ensures each child develops, understands and takes responsibility at their own pace. The centre does away with the dated early learning methods of set lesson plans. Instead, it embraces individuality, personal growth and current abilities, allowing each Mini to comfortably develop in a warm, secure and supportive environment.

The centre’s programs allow for the children to move freely around the activities, making their own unique choices, while ensuring that all key learning areas are promoted and explored. The overall aim of the curriculum is to develop our Mini's independence, while fostering confidence in communication and learning.

If I could give no stars I would. This centre is disgusting, absolutely no sense of hygiene, kids are left neglected and barely any brains with management. My 4 year old son was picked up on multiple occasions in a horrible state, no shoes in site, a knee injury which he stated he fell off a slide and was unattended resulting in him limping out of the centre that day upon pick up. I was not informed that he had fallen. The worst part of all my son was sent home with poo stuck between his bum. I had to soak him in the bath to peel it off like it was glue. Which to me was a clear indication he was left like that all day. My son was only partially toilet trained at the time and needed help with wiping. This was clearly ignored. I took him to the doctors that day where he was examined and given a cream to help with the blisters and rash. As parents we only want the best for our kids and finding a trusting, clean, safe and reliable centre is hard these days. I will save you all the headache and advise you to please keep clear of Mini Mastersminds.

Response from the owner 06 May 2026

Hi Madison, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re very sorry to read how you feel about your experience, as this is not reflective of the standard we strive to provide at our centre. We take all concerns relating to children’s wellbeing, supervision, and hygiene extremely seriously. After reviewing our records, the incidents described here do not align with anything that has been documented at the centre. That said, we always encourage families to raise any concerns (big or small) with us at the time so they can be addressed immediately and thoroughly. We also acknowledge that your time with us occurred during a period of team transition, which can happen from time to time across any centre. We are very confident in our current and ongoing team and the consistent level of care, supervision, and communication they provide to families each day. We note that your child particularly enjoyed gardening, which was one of his favourite activities at the centre. While we always aim to keep children clean, some learning experiences, especially hands on sensory play can naturally be a little messier, and we value the important developmental benefits these experiences provide. We hope we have been able to thoroughly address your concerns here and in our private communications, however we are willing to chat further as we continue to discuss outstanding account matters. Kind Regards, Mini Masterminds Liverpool

recently visited this childcare centre for a tour because I was interested in enrolling my son. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. While the centre itself has a beautiful outdoor area and some nice toys inside, the cleanliness was very poor. The environment looked dirty and not well maintained, which is very concerning for a place caring for young children. I also noticed there seemed to be more children and only one staff memeber. During lunchtime, I observed that the children were only given one simple meal and there did not seem to be enough supervision. Some children were crying and fighting while the educator did not properly monitor the situation and at times walked away. Another strange experience was that I was invited for a tour, but only about five minutes after the tour ended I received a phone call saying there was no spot available for my child. This felt very unprofessional. It is a shame because the centre itself has potential with its outdoor space and toys, but the cleanliness, supervision, and staffing levels did not feel safe or appropriate for children.
