My daughter has been attending Imaginarium Early Learning since they opened, and we have had a great experience overall. Most of the staff have always been lovely, welcoming, and genuinely caring. They have an awesome kindergarten program. Sarah, who was our daughter’s kindergarten teacher last year, was absolutely amazing. We are very grateful for her help, guidance, and support throughout the year in preparing our daughter for her transition to Prep. She truly made a positive and lasting impact. Over the years, I have always found the staff to be prompt and proactive in addressing any feedback or concerns we have raised, which has given us a lot of confidence as parents. The change in management over the last year has shown a big positive change for the centre, and it’s clear improvements have been made. I encourage people to form their own opinions rather than relying on outdated experiences shared by others.

Reposting as it was deleted ‘Our team responded immediately’ is factually untrue. It took an hour to call me, the fall happened at 11am, I didn’t receive a call until 11;53am, AFTER he’d been put down for a nap. I did not receive an incident report (which was incorrect in what had happened) until later that afternoon. The centres consideration for immediately and the actual definition of immediately are very different. They contacted me on multiple occasions to confirm details about my sons injuries as they had no idea of them because he wasn’t provided with first aid & to confirm when we could go in to see the footage. They also had contacted me 3 times alone to ask for me to sign the incident report, in which I refused until we saw the footage. I spoke with the Department on the 29.7.25 who confirmed their review was still under investigation, so the fact that the centre are now also providing false and inaccurate information on a public forum with their comment ‘Their review determined it was an unfortunate accident, comparable to what could happen at home or in a park, not due to negligence or misconduct.’ relating to such a serious matter is quite disheartening & just shows how seriously they take these situations. The lead educator was not a personal friend of mine however we did know of the same people outside of the daycare, however never met prior to her working with my child. I’m unsure as to how this has anything todo with my child’s incident and the lack of care he was provided with after. We did believe that the other educator should not be working in a childcare centre if they blatantly are able to watch a child fall & who is in clear distress and do not react. This to us felt like there was no care for their safety or wellbeing, whether they were the ‘responsible person’ or not, they watched the incident happen, but just stood there while my child was crying on the ground and another child went and comforted him instead & then walked away. We also advised the centre that our child would not be returning unless said educator was no longer working there due to our concerns after watching what had happened. The centres response fails to include we also advised that ALOT of other things would need to change and show proof of these changes before we would consider putting our child back into care there. Purely for the fact that my child built very strong connections with the other children in his time there and I did not want to take him away from the comfort of the people he knows, nothing todo with the care given to him while being enrolled. Whilst it is disappointing that I’ve had to go as far as writing this review, I believe parents of current children in the centre or those looking for a place to trust their children need to know how this centre & their educators handle situations like this. The new management like to throw around words saying that they are striving towards making the centre accountable environment & that past experiences influence perception or that they cannot allow outdated or incomplete representations to discredit them. However they fail to mention that this incident and their actions after happened 3 weeks ago, whilst under new management. I would also like to add in response to that this review or anything I have said is not ‘influenced by personal relationships with former staff’ as they’ve stated in their response. But everything todo with my child and the way he was treated whilst in care on multiple occasions. The fact that the centre are trying to discredit our experience by saying my response towards how my child’s incident was handled was because I knew the lead educator outside of the childcare environment, is disgusting. Whether I knew them or not, it does not take blame away from the actions that were not taken on the day of the incident occurring when my child was under their care. The fact that management are so concerned about what their current or previous staff might be saying about their time there, under new or old management alike, is very concerning

My son had a serious fall & we were blatantly lied to about it & the centre followed no first aid procedures or requirements. I was called at 11;53am and was advised that my son had slipped off the bottom of a climbing frame at 11am & couldn’t catch himself in time and bumped his head on the ground when landing, resulting in a small graze to his forehead. I had asked at what height he fell from and they were very clear over the phone that he was stepping off the bottom of the frame and lost balance, but he was completely fine, no other marks etc. I felt comfortable with this as I trusted the educator however requested someone still watch over him as he was already asleep at the time of the phone call. I had an incident report sent to me advising of what I was told over the phone. Upon pickup around 4pm I arrived at the centre to see my son had grazing & bruising on his forehead, left cheek bone, under his nose, ribs, a black eye & the whole left side of his face was swollen. We went in & watched the footage of my son’s fall 2 days after the incident, the cameras view was obstructed by an umbrella however the bottom 3 quarters of the frame (about the height of my son who is 2) was within view of the camera. The footage showed my son climbing up and down the frame a few times without issue & it then showed him falling from a part of the frame which was not within view, essentially confirming that he fell from the top or near top of the frame. My son fell head first and then onto his back, then rolled onto his right hand side (opposite side to his injuries) and was crying on the ground. Not one of his educators got up to tend to him or offered first aid. One of the other children in the room helped him off the ground, brushed his face off and gave him a hug & walked him over to the lead educator where they brushed the dirt off his face & he was pretty much dismissed as they continued doing another child’s hair when my son was so clearly in distress. The director tried stating that he had fallen onto his side because the footage showed him rolling from his back to right hand side, I had to correct them in advising that none of his injuries were on that side of his body so that could not be the case & if he had landed on his side then he wouldn’t have any injuries to his head/face. I also had to explain & show them while watching the footage back that you can see his body falling fell head first before hitting the ground. We voiced our concerns surrounding the incident, lack of communication, no first aid whatsoever, a false incident report, no comfort given at all & being blatantly lied to regarding what had happened, as we would have picked him up and had him seen by a doctor if we had of known what had actually happened. We also raised concerns with the fact that my son was put down for a nap an hour after he had a pretty serious fall, not following any concussion regulations. We questioned how the incident report was even written up and signed by both the lead educator & the director as the lead educator did not actually see what had happened & it did not depict what had happened. The lead educator had already left the centre (her last day being the day of my son’s incident) & the other educator did not receive anything but a warning. This is by far not our first issue or incident that we’ve had raised to the director, owner or even department with this centre, but definitely our last, we took our son out effective immediately. The director & operations manager laid all blame onto the educators, in which we agreed with as they were the ones who were in the room however they did not offer any reasonable resolutions & made it clear in their eyes this was a ‘learning curve’ rather than an incident that should be taken seriously resulting in serious consequences for the staff involved.

We have been at Imaginarium Early Learning Burpengary since they opened and the staff & center have been really welcoming, open & caring. Our son started in the Poppets & has moved up to Pre-Kindy & is now in the Kindy Room, every step of the way the staff has been truly amazing, and we cannot thank them enough for all their hard work and support they have shown our son and our family. My child has recently been diagnosed with additional needs and The Owner, Director & Staff work so hard to provide a friendly, caring & inclusive environment. We have witnessed my son have challenging moments and have watched the staff guide/settle him with so much compassion. The support we have received has meant the world to us as a family and we wanted to thank them for everything they do each and every day. We can’t wait to see what the next five months brings for our son’s development and progress before he goes to big school next year.

I must say the staff themselves at the day care are amazing! the one thing that is their biggest down side is the management (centre manager) she is not caring, completely unprofessional, speaks rudely to parents and quite dismissive,blames illnesses that have been transferred from the day care on the parents/ siblings being sick.

We have 2 kids here and they are both extremely happy . It's a family owned centre and the owner has the best interest of the children at heart . It's a shame some previous staff members have ruined some parents experiences .

I highly recommend Imaginarium Early Learning for any parent looking for quality care and a safe, fun environment for their child. From the moment I met Brenda, her professionalism and passion made me feel at ease. The rates are reasonable, and the staff goes above and beyond to ensure the children are engaged and happy. The bush kindy program at Imaginarium is outstanding, with a variety of activities to keep the kids entertained. From bush play days to library trips, they make sure every day is filled with fun experiences. The staff are friendly, informative, and the security measures in place give me peace of mind as a parent. Moreover, the staff at Imaginarium, including the chef, have played a significant role in my son’s development. They have catered to his high allergy needs gluten , dairy and egg free providing him with a variety of options which meet his needs and are delicious. The personalized care and attention he received made him excited to go to “kindy” every morning. The welcoming atmosphere created by the staff make us feel like part of a family. In conclusion, Imaginarium has exceeded my expectations in every aspect. I wholeheartedly recommend this childcare service to any parent seeking a nurturing environment where their child can learn and grow while feeling loved and cared for.
