Our daughter started at Betty Elaine when she was 20 months old, and like all parents, we were understandably anxious about how she would transition from family care into a daycare environment. What we didn’t anticipate was just how deeply Betty Elaine would care for our baby, truly like she was part of their own family. The level of genuine care, support and consideration shown to her (and to us) has been incredible. The carers are exceptionally good at what they do. They create a safe, nurturing and open learning environment where children are encouraged to learn, explore and thrive at their own pace. What stood out most was the dedicated one-on-one attention our daughter received when she first started. We honestly can’t overstate how much this helped her transition. Thanks to the patience and care of the team, she now absolutely loves going to “school”, which means the world to us as parents. A huge thank you to Miss Rawida, Miss Deepa, Miss Hongmei, Miss Joanne, Miss Mandy, and all the wonderful teachers who do such an amazing job every day looking after our most precious gift - our child. We feel incredibly grateful to be part of the Betty Elaine community. 💛

One of the best pre-school in our area, my nieces went there in past years and now my daughter's last year here she is ready for school next year, she has definitely learned a lot from here, the staff here has been very helpful, caring and always looking after each child according to their needs. From the very first visit until now, this place has remained consistently wonderful for many years. All three of our children have been growing and learning here, and we couldn’t be more grateful. The educators’ care and teaching are always passionate and positive. The centre is consistently clean and well maintained, and the educators always welcome us with warm smiles and genuine consideration. I came across this place while studying childcare and doing my placement. I met a legend who has worked in the same role for 40 years, and in the younger room, there was another teacher who has worked for 20 years. The way they worked, their attitude, and the way they cared for children were like a living book to me. Meeting them has been a great blessing in my life. The younger teachers were tirelessly caring for and teaching the children, and the Director was someone who truly fulfilled the duty of protecting and ensuring the happiness of the children. The relationships with the parents also seemed wonderful. The parents trusted the educators, and the teachers worked hard to return that trust with love and dedication. I truly applaud the teachers for keeping everything clean, hygienic, and so well managed. Even though I was only a student on placement, at the end I was deeply touched by the children’s thank-you cards and the parents’ gifts. I will never forget this experience. I pray that the children grow up healthy and strong, and I pray for the health and peace of all the teachers.

Highly recommended as a hidden gem in Lidcombe. My son waits by the door every morning and asks me to hurry so he can get to Betty Elaine as soon as possible. He is well looked after and learning heaps. It's a small centre but has a community feel. Definitely recommend!
