Welcome to Explore & Develop - Norton Street Lilyfield

Explore & Develop Lilyfield is a privately owned, architecturally designed education and care facility, catering for children 0-6 years of age. Operating since 2011, we are an Exceeding the National Quality Standard service who believes every child is unique and that every child has the right to become a confident and involved learner.

We believe that the way we introduce children to early learning is of high importance, as it is the foundation on which children will build the rest of their lives. We value our highly trained Educators as agents for this learning, fostering an inquisitive and enthusiastic approach for all children, all ages and all stages of development, whilst identifying and respecting what makes your child unique.

Our natural environments encourage each child’s journey of self-discovery and change. Our educators continue to build on your child’s interest through flexible and open-ended learning environments. Each rooms program is designed to incorporate language, literacy, drama, music, arts, mathematics and science. Our programs are based on the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Framework and continue to evolve to reflect the children’s interests and stages of development.

Our transition to school program provides an environment that offers choice, challenge and routine so that children can grow, and develop self-confidence, social maturity and independent life skills for a world beyond Explore & Develop Lilyfield.

We value our staffs’ high professional qualifications and their role as passionate advocates for the early childhood profession. Our educators are active learners as well, through their ongoing commitment to professional development via workshops, mentoring and the upgrading of their formal qualifications
