Everyone likes Easter, a couple of days off work and plenty of chocolate for all…what's not to love? Easter is also laden with symbols and motifs, which make great craft projects: eggs, bunnies, chicks, there's something to pique the interest of even the most 'un-crafty' children.

We've sorted through the resources and curated 10 fun activities for you to try with your child/ren this Easter weekend. Happy crafting!

Cotton bud painting Suitable for all ages, this activity is quick and easy and won't drain your craft supplies.

Ribbon eggs You'll need an egg template and plenty of brightly coloured ribbons for this project, which is great for developing fine motor skills.

Bubble wrap eggs Another egg activity, this one with bubble wrap, which creates an interesting texture and is irresistibly poppable!

Tape-resist eggs This activity would work on any piece of paper and can be scaled in complexity to suit children of all ages.

Easter trees If you fancy a collaborative activity then why not try this lovely colourful 'Easter tree'.

Wet chalk tape-resist eggs Another tape resist activity, this one mixes the tape with the interesting consistency of wet chalk.

Bunny banners Use a simple template to create a banner of Easter bunnies, which you can hang on the walls.

Bunny ears These crowns are the perfect solution to the Easter hat parade.

Bunny masks Use paper plates as the basis for these sweet and slightly cheeky bunny masks. Younger children may need assistance with some of the elements.

Cotton ball bunnies Use squishy cotton balls to create these adorable soft Easter bunnies.
