With the early childhood education and care (ECEC) sector in the midst of a staffing crisis, childcare software provider Kinder m8 and early childhood casual recruitment company Z Recruitment, have joined forces to assist with two of the sector’s biggest pain points.

Finding casual educators to fill shifts at short notice and taking care of administrative/compliance requirements in the most cost effective, streamlined way are two common challenges faced by ECEC providers.

The Kinder m8 and Z Recruitment partnership has led to the development of solutions that improve access to a casual childcare workforce and make the behind-the-scenes work of a childcare centre far more manageable.

Kinder m8 is an all-in-one, premium early childhood software that facilitates a number of administrative tasks to support early childhood centres achieve an exceeding rating. And new to the market is Z Recruitment, a first-of-its-kind app that connects childcare centres with casual childcare educators in their area so vacant spots can be filled in minutes rather than hours or days.

Both Kinder m8 and Z Recruitment share values and have the common goal of providing premium products and services to the wider early childhood community. As well as using the Kinder m8 app to stay on top of daily tasks, childcare centres can now access Z Recruitment and post a casual shift through the same platform.

As CEO Niroj Sri from Kinder m8 explains,

“Partnering with Z Recruitment provides the opportunity for our clients to have access to a complete eco-system and an all encompassing software solution for all verticals of their business.”

Z Recruitment’s General Manager Jessica Hennessey adds,

“The Kinder m8 platform provides the management product that compliments our recruitment technology perfectly. Connecting with Kinder m8 means we can support our childcare centre clients and recruiters without the need to reinvent the wheel.”

At the end of the day, both solutions have been created to allow ECEC services to give the maximum possible amount of attention to what matters most; the children in their care. By partnering with the goal of sharing technology and amplifying market reach, both companies  are confident they can grow and provide much-needed solutions to Australia’s rapidly growing early childhood sector.
