The educators take the time to understand my child’s individual needs and are always happy to provide updates throughout the day, which gives me great peace of mind. I always feel comfortable approaching the team with questions, and communication is open and supportive. The rooms are thoughtfully set up with a wide range of toys and resources that encourage imaginative play. The centre is always clean and organised. What really stands out is the strong sense of community — all of the staff know my child by name, not just his main educators. Most importantly, my child comes home happy every day, which speaks volumes about the care they provide.

They prioritised getting to know him and our family, which really makes drop off and pick up so enjoyable, because he is so excited to start the day and often doesn’t want to come home right away!

One of the best childcare centres in Essendon — highly recommended! Laura is a wonderful manager with excellent leadership and organisation. Nina is always so kind and very helpful. I always felt safe and secure leaving my son in their care. All the educators genuinely take great care of the children. The playground is spacious, with plenty of room for the kids to run around — my son absolutely loved it. It’s also very convenient, with easy access to the toilets for the children. The undercover parking is a big plus, especially on rainy days. My son is in Prep now, but he still keeps asking to go back and visit his favourite place and his favourite people.

The educators give just the right amount of updates to parents during the day - some cute photos every now and then and frequent routine updates, but you can tell they don’t spend all their time on their devices. The sprinklers in the play area are a big plus making it possible for outdoor play in the heat. The chef at Journey is phenomenal. Our son had complicated dietaries and the chef, Nasib, was always preparing him delicious, safe alternative foods. At first we had hesitations because of the mod grass and the carpark right there but now we would highly recommend!

It’s clear how much love and effort they put into creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for the children. Loresa has settled in beautifully and is always happy and comfortable when she’s there, which gives us so much peace of mind as parents. We’re so grateful to the team for the care and support they provide every day.
